Missives continue to be a crucial part of Crafted Gear in Midnight, allowing you to choose the stats that get applied to the gear and items that you either craft for yourself or create a work order for. Because of this, you may find yourself not knowing the name of the missive that will give you the specific Stats that you want to apply to your crafted Gear.
This guide will breakdown the name of each missive, the combination of stats that they apply when crafting, and where you get them from.
Where to Get Missives
Missives are made by players with the Inscription Profession. You can make them yourself if you have Inscription, or you can buy them from the Auction House.
How to Use a Missive
Missives are inserted into the crafting window, or work order request window before crafting the item.
If you use the wrong Missive or want to change the stats that are on that item, its fine, but you will need to recraft the item with the correct missive and a discounted amount of some of the original crafting materials.
Missive Stats Combinations
There are regular Crafted Gear Missives that give an equal amount of 2 Stats, and Profession specific Missives that give a single profession related Stat such as Finesse; these can only be used on Profession Crafted Gear.
