Argentleaf is an important Midnight Herb reagent that is used in multiple recipes for the Cooking and Alchemy professions and can only be gathered by Herbalists (players with Herbalism). Finding Argentleaf can be tough as it only spawns around bushes and other foliage with many of the Midnight herbs also spawning around the same area.
This guide shows you a short route that has helped us gather a large amount of Argentleaf along with a smaller amount of other herbs.
Recommended Herbalism Knowledge Point Build
As this route does have a lot of mobs in the area it is recommended that you first max out the Botany point tree as this will allow you to stay on your mount while you are gathering herbs.

After you have maxed out Botany move onto Bountiful Harvests to gain higher maximum and minimum yields from all herbs. If you only want to focus on Argentleaf, you can max out the Silver Searcher tree in Bountiful Harvests.

If you don’t have enough knowledge points to max out either of the trees, you will want to try to gain as many knowledge points as you can. Herbalism Profession Knowledge Points come from multiple sources: a chance to drop when herbing each week, first time herbing for each herb type, Profession Treasures and a Thalassian Treatise on Herbalism.
The best way to get a lot of points in a short amount of time is to find all of the Profession Treasures spread across the zones of Midnight. For Herbalism there are 8 treasures that will each give you 3 knowledge points, totaling to 28 knowledge points. For the locations of all of the profession treasures you can check out our Midnight Profession Treasures Locations Guide.

Argentleaf Herb Farming Route
The route is based in the Harandar zone, inside of The Blinding Bloom area, in the southwest of the zone. This area is densely packed with herbs, with a ton of different platforms for herbs to spawn on.
Inside of this route you will primarily find four different herbs:
- Argentleaf
- Tranquility Bloom
- Azeroot
- Lightfused Herbs (Mote Of Light)
Argentleaf and Tranquility Bloom will be the main herbs you will find in the area, as it is packed with different types of bushes and foliage for them to spawn around. You will find Azeroot in smaller batches, which will spawn around the different roots of Shaladrassil.
The image below shows you the Herb Farming route for Argentleaf in The Blinding Bloom.

Make sure to check and pick herbs around the entire area of the Blinding Bloom as the herbs will also spawn in and around the middle. You will farm a lot more Argentleaf and accompanying herbs if you make sure to do this.
The route is a short one and you may have to supplement it by fishing or gathering herbs around Fungara Village to help new nodes spawn.
Note: This area is also densely populated with Mobs, which means the chance you pull mobs is quite high. To prevent being dazed and minimising the amount of time you have to engage with these mobs, you should opt to spec into a Tank spec if possible, as Tank specs can’t get dazed while mounted.
