Website Content Assistant (World of Warcraft)
Reports Directly To: Website and Data Manager
Part-time: Expected 15 hours minimum per week
Remote: Work from anywhere
Responsible for contributing to Method’s guides and other World of Warcraft-related website content. Guides include but are not limited to: class/spec guides, boss guides, Mythic+ guides and general guides (e.g. mounts, collections, legendaries, toys).
Responsibilities:
- Producing original written content for the website. Content may include: mount guides, patch content guides and expansion feature content (e.g. Dragon Riding Glyphs).
- Work with the Website & Data Manager to plan and create a strategy for a consistent website content calendar.
- Coordinate with internal content authors to procure content.
- Proofreading and editing of author-provided content into the required format and publishing according to the scheduling.
- Research and maintain an awareness of competitor offerings and new content opportunities.
- Maintain tracking for the content plan, reporting status and updates to the Website & Data Manager.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven to achieve output goals.
- Full professional English language proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong organizational skills.
- Strong understanding and active engagement in World of Warcraft content.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Willingness to work in sprints (as content ramps up before and at the start of a new content patch).
- Prior experience with digital media/content preferred.
