With Midnight Herbalism, each zone will be better to farm specific motes. In this guide we have included farming routes for each of the zones so you efficiently farm all of the specific motes that you want.
You will also be able to farm Tranquility Bloom, Argentleaf, Azeroot, Mana Lily and Sanguithorn in any zone as these are not zone specific. You will also rarely receive Nocturnal Lotus when herbing any node.
Herbalism is always a great gold source as all of the new Midnight herbs are used for crafting Potions, Flasks and even food, so farming herbs at the start of the expansion can be an easy way to get your professions going and making some gold in the process.
Which Zone Gives Which Mote
We have included a table so you know which zone to farm for the different motes in Midnight. We recommend specializing into the Midnight Overload Herbalism specialization so you can farm even more motes. Eversong Woods Herb Farming Route
In Eversong Woods we recommend sticking close to the rivers as a lot of herb nodes spawn along them and you will also be able to find additional Rich Soil to use seeds in for more herbs. We think this is one of the best zones for just farming herbs.
Zul’Aman Herb Farming Route
When following this Zul’Aman Herbalism farming route, we recommend sticking to the edges of the zone as this keeps you always roughly on the same level, meaning you won’t struggle to locate herbs that are on a very specific ledge.
Overloading the nodes here gives a really nice buff for additional rare materials. In addition, the lashers from wild nodes give a nice bonus for the amount of herbs you receive.
Harandar Herb Farming Route
Harandar is probably the most herb rich zone, making it very efficient for farming herbs. However, the overload results are a little lackluster compared to the other zones. If you are not specialized into Midnight Overload this is probably the best zone for farming herbs.
Voidstorm Herb Farming Route
The Voidstorm is a little bit of an awkward zone for collecting herbs, because it has a lot of ledges and a high amount of aggressive mobs. However, overloading nodes here can result in a lot of additional herbs and motes.
Note: You will also have needed to have completed most of the campaign to access this zone.
