The 'Kill Sandflies' Landsraad Task is one of the easier Landsraad 'elimination' Tasks thanks to the many Sandfly outposts across both the Western and Eastern Shield Wall.
Sandfly enemies are present all throughout the Western and Eastern Shield Wall, in large numbers across many Strongholds, Testing Stations, Caves and Camps.
As with all 'killing' Tasks, each kill of a Sandfly will award 23 points which means that you will need 457 kills for the Tier 4 Reward and 609 kills for the Armor Swatch.

Where To Find Sandflies in Dune Awakening
As previously mentioned, Sandflies can be found in the Wester and Eastern Shield wall areas of Hagga Basin, as shown in the image below. Each figure indicates the rough number of NPCs you'll find at that POI.
As with many other elimination Landsraad Tasks in Hagga Basin, you can find enemies in the highest concentrations within the Testing Stations. Testing Station 142 for example has over 50 enemies in a single POI!
The fastest way to completed this Landsraad Task is just to run the full route. By the time you reach the end, the first POI should be fully respawned so you can just cycle it until you hit the desired number of points.
Pro Tip: Pair this with another Landsraad Task, like 'Deliver Light Caliber Compressors' to maximise efficiency.
Tips To Save Time
As with all 'Killing' Landsraad Tasks, you'll want to follow these tips to save yourself time and maximise your efficiency:
- Use a Scout Ornithopter with the highest level Wings, Engine and Thruster (Boost Module) that you can craft;
- Craft the highest level melee weapon that you can as this is the fastest way to kill Sandflies;
- Ensure your items are fully repaired (especially your Shield, Power Pack and Suspensor Belt);
- Ensure you have a Literjon stocked up with plenty of water before you go; and
- Just 'loot all' and then sort out the loot when you get back to your base.
