In Chapter 2, Dune Awakening released five new 'Archetype' Armor Sets, one for each of the 'Classes' in the Dune Awakening (Trooper, Swordsmaster and so on).
These 'Archetype' Armor Sets are awarded as both actual armor pieces AND as a Variant, so you do not have to keep the Armor equipped to get the look.
This guide will run through each Archetype Armor Set, including its stats and how you can unlock it.

How To Unlock Archetype Armor Sets in Dune Awakening
The answer here is actually pretty simple, to unlock the Archetype Armor Sets you need to fully complete each of the 'Class' quest (contract) chains. These each involve around 6-10 individual contracts.
Note: The first quest/contract in each chain starts with the Basic Trainer for each Class and then requires you to locate the Advanced Trainer to progress further.

Simply progress through the entire quest chain. The Archetype Armor Set and the accompanying Variant will be provided reward for completing the final quest.
Once unlocked, all of the Archetype Armor Sets can also then be crafted at the Advanced Garment Fabricator.
How Good Are Archetype Armor Sets?
Archetype Armor Sets - Overall Stats
The following table breaks down the stats of each Archetype Armor Set. All of the Armor Sets are Mk5/Duraluminum Tier but don't let that fool you regarding their usefulness.

Archetype Armor Sets are powerful... or at least some of them are. Although they have lower Armor than their Mk6 equivalents (Pincushion set: 971, Archetype Light Set: 786), they are the only Armor Sets in the game that provide Cooldown Reduction.
The Light Armor Sets also have a much higher Dash Stamina Cost Reduction than other Mk6 Unique equivalent sets (30% vs 20%).
Archetype Armor Sets - Cooldown Reduction
The Cooldown Reduction Stat on the Archetype Armor Sets provide a reduction in the cooldown of Abilities for that specific Class only.
So for example, wearing the Swordmaster set will provide a 7% Cooldown Reduction on all Swordmaster abilities. For Planetologist this is likely to be of limited use but for Swordmaster on the other hand (Knee Charge, Crippling Strike), this is great.

The Mentat Archetype Armor Set is a Light Armor Set which provides Cooldown Reduction to Mentat Abilities, in addition to reducing Dash Stamina Cost and providing Blade Mitigation & Heat Protection.

The Planetologist Archetype Armor Set is a Light Armor Set which provides Cooldown Reduction to Planetologist Abilities, in addition to reducing Dash Stamina Cost and providing Blade Mitigation & Heat Protection.

The Planetologist Set is undoubtedly the weakest, with the Cooldown Reduction only applying to the Suspensor Pad ability.
