The 'Cactus Chaos' Testing Station is a short, single lock-in Testing Station that can appear in either the PVE or PVP zone of the Deep Desert. It has a very simple, linear layout.
Warning: This Testing Station is designed for small groups, but can be done solo. However you will be locked in to multiple rooms where you will encounter many waves of enemies. We recommend at least a Mk5 Weapon, Power Pack & Shield.
- Length: ~25
- Challenge: 1 Lock-ins, ~6 Waves
- Solo Difficulty: Medium
Cactus Chaos Testing Station - Map & Route
The Cactus Chaos Testing Station is one of the shorter Testing Stations, with only a few rooms and a very simple layout to navigate.
Reaching the Lock-in
Simply head down the stairs into the first main chamber. You'll notice a green shield door straight ahead and a purple locked shield door on your right.
Once you progress through the green shield door, you will be locked in until you complete ~6 waves of combat.
Combat Section - Lock-in
This is a fairly generous Testing Station as it relates to the combat section. The room has many places to hide but in particular you will want to utilise the corridor (where you enter) and the stairs (leading to the locked door).
Both of these spots are great for pulling melee enemies away from the pack. Parry and slow-blade them and then turn your attention to the unshielded enemies. Finally, finish off the heavies.
There is ~6 waves and they get progressively harder. The last two waves are a little tough as they involve defeating around 10-12 enemies.
Reward Room & ID Band
After completing the combat section, head up the stairs at the back of the room and through the now-unlocked door into a circular room. Follow the corridor down into the Reward Room.
You'll find the Reward Chest in the centre and the Purple ID Band near the door. Grab both and then head out.
