Thermo-Responsive Ray Amplifiers are one of the end-game crafting components in Dune Awakening, primarily used for crafting end-game Cutterays and Lasguns.
Like many end-game crafting components, Thermo-Responsive Ray Amplifiers can only be found in the Deep Desert, specifically in Unrecovered Wrecks, Testing Stations, Downed Ships, and Caves.
You can however, also craft Thermo-Responsive Ray Amplifiers, if you have an Advanced Survival Fabricator and the right materials.

Where to Find Thermo-responsive Ray Amplifiers
Finding Thermo-Responsive Ray Amplifiers In Shipwrecks & Downed Ships
If you want to farm these yourself, your only real option when it comes to farming them directly is to head into the Deep Desert. Unrecovered Shipwrecks, which are marked as green ships on the map, usually have decent yields. They have a high chance of containing Thermo-responsive Ray Amplifiers, and can serve as one of the most reliable and quickest ways to farm them.
You can run a route of all the Wrecks in Row A from West to East or vice versa and you should get a decent haul.
Downed Ships (the ships that randomly fall into the desert from the sky) also typically drop these in decent quantities.
Finding Thermo-Responsive Ray Amplifiers In Testing Stations
You can also head inside the Testing Stations and the Caves in the Deep Desert.
For us, we recommend the Caves. While the yields are much lower than in the other three locations, the chance of PvP is much lower.
Crafting Thermo-responsive Ray Amplifiers
There’s also the option to craft Thermo-responsive Ray Amplifiers.
You’ll need access to an Advanced Survival Fabricator, and you’ll need to gather or buy the right parts. The recipe looks like this:
- 3 Ray Amplifiers
- 2 Plasteel Plates
- 2 Copper Ingots
- 50 Water
Pro tip: Ray Amplifiers are found in the Hagga Rift, especially at specific enemy strongholds like The Spiral and Arctus Cavern.
Buying Thermo-responsive Ray Amplifiers
