EMF Generators are a common crafting material/resource in Dune Awakening that is required for producing a whole bunch of different tools such as Cutterays, Compactors and Blood Extractors.
The good news it that EMF Generators can be easily acquired from Vendors or farmed from Caves. Though you will probably also just acquire many of these on your travels as you play through the game.
Where to get EMF Generators in Dune Awakening
Buying EMF Generators from Vendors
Shown above are the locations of three Tradeposts that stock EMF Generators.
EMF Generators are a very common purchasable resource, meaning that many of the Vendors in Dune Awakening will sell you them. A good place to buy them is the Scrap Vendors at Arrakeen or Harko Village, as both sell them in stacks of 50. You can also purchase them from four Tradepost Merchants, namely Griffin's Reach, Anvil, Pinnacle Station and Crossroads.
Alternatively, you can of course also just buy them directly from the Exchange.
Farming EMF Generators
The place to find EMF Generators is inside caves, and specifically within the Chests inside Caves. In Hagga Basin, expect to loot around 5-6 Generators from most Caves however this increases significantly for the Containers within Sheol.
The Small Ultra Rare chest in the Shaitan's Grotto location just south of the Wreck of the Delphis is a great spot as it can contain dozens of EMF Generators.
Finally, as with most resources, the Deep Desert is a great place to farm EMF Generators. The Deep Desert Caves provide substantial amounts of EMF Generators and are easily farmable in the A-row.
Deliver EMF Generators Landsraad Task
The 'EMF Generators' Landsraad Task is one of the Landsraad's ‘deliver’ tasks that involves collecting a certain number of EMF Generators and handing them in for a Landsraad Reward.
Delivery of EMF Generators is one of the easier tasks, and as a resource task, much like with Armor Plating, you may have a decent supply of them already in your storage.
Pro Tip: EMF Generators award 10 points each, so without any bonuses, 1,050 will be needed for a Tier 4 Lansdraad reward.
