The Trials of the Aql are a series of main-story quests that guide you through Dune Awakenings early-mid game.
The quests consist mostly of a series of Spice-driven experiences which teach you about the dangers of Arrakis and how you can overcome these dangers with tools & techniques.

First Trial of Aql
The game will guide you directly to this Trial so you don't really need to worry about locating it.
Activity: Stealth-based mission involving sneaking around giant eyeballs, avoiding their glare.
Reward: 'Scavenger Stillsuit' Schematics
Second Trial of Aql
Location & Link: You can find the Second Trial of Aql in Eastern Vermillius Gap, just east of the Wreck of Actaeon.
Activity: Use your newly acquired Static Compactor to remove fire, poison and sand.

Third Trial of Aql
Location & Link: You can find the Third Trial of Aql far west in Western Vermillius Gap, southwest of the Wreck of the Pallas.
Activity: No activity, just interact with the 'Spice Container'
Reward: No reward
Fourth Trial of Aql
Location & Link: You can find the Fourth Trial of Aql inside the large rock formation in Eastern Vermillius Gap, west of the Anvil Tradepost.
Activity: Combat, you will be attacked by waves of enemies.
Reward: Unlock Spice 'Prescience' ability and your third ability slot
Fifth Trial of Aql
Location & Link: You can find the Fifth Trial of Aql in the north eastern reaches of Hagga Rift.
Activity: You will be required to jump across platforms and then make use of a Thumper.

Sixth Trial of Aql
Location & Link: You can find the Sixth Trial of Aql in Devil's Eye Cavern, in the northeast corner of Jabal Eifrit Al-Sharq.
Activity: No activity, just interact with the 'Spice Container' at the end of the cave.
Reward: No reward
Seventh Trial of Aql
Location & Link: You can find the Seventh Trial of Aql in the 'Red Maw' within Hagga Rift.
Activity: Navigate from Stilltent to Stilltent to stay safe from the sandstorms.

Eighth Trial of Aql (Footsteps of the Fremen)
Location & Link: You can find the Eighth Trial of Aql in Sietch Ta'lab within the Eastern Shield Wall.
Activity: A long dungeon where you will have to defeat many enemies and complete several puzzles. Check out our guide for puzzle answers.
