So you've reached the point in the game where you are looking to start crafting some awesome stuff, maybe your Mk4 weapons, armor or of course the hallowed ornithopter, and you realise that you're going to need a lot of Aluminum Ore.
Fear not, for this resource is actually very easy to farm, once you have the right tools, and when you know where you are going.
First of all, in order to mine Aluminum Ore at all, you are going to need a Cutteray Mk3, which has to be crafted in the Survival Fabricator. Once you have that fabricated and equipped, you're ready to rock (sorry but great pun).
Where to Farm Aluminum Ore
The best place to go to farm Aluminum Ore in Dune Awakening is the Eastern Shield Wall. This lovely little area is going to provide you with so much Aluminum Ore, you'll be wondering what to do with it all. You can see the area we'll be looking at marked on the map below.
This area is packed with enough Aluminum Ore that you can easily harvest over 500 Ore within just a few minutes.
We've provided a route in the image below that we found to be optimal. Apologies in advance for the shoddy artwork but hopefully it's decipherable.
Start where the arrow indicates and then follow the line, taking the nodes in the numerical order indicated in the image. It's a really simple route so you'll have it down to memory after doing it just once.
If you are approaching the route from the east, you can actually start with 12 & 13 but don't run the route in reverse if you do that as you jump off a big cliff when you get to node 8.
