The 'Kill Harkonnen House Troops' is one of the hardest 'elimination' style Landsraad Tasks. That's because these enemies are tough and are mostly located within Row A of the Deep Desert.
Harkonnen House Troops act like any other hostile NPCs and as such are hostile to both factions. In addition to the Deep Desert, you'll also find them in Hagga Basin Strongholds.
As with all 'killing' Tasks, each kill of a Harkonnen House Troop will award 23 points which means that you will need 457 kills for the Tier 4 Reward and 609 kills for the Armor Swatch.

Where To Find Harkonnen House Troops in Dune Awakening
Although Harkonnen House Troops are mostly found in the Deep Desert, you can also find them in smaller groups within Hagga Basin. All locations are listed below.
Harkonnen House Troops In The Deep Desert Shield Wall (Row A)
Unless you want to run the Hagga Basin locations dozens of times (and hope other people aren't doing the same), then you are going to need to venture out into the Deep Desert.
Note: Harkonnen House Troops are reasonably tough, so we'd recommend that you come prepared with at least Mk5 gear and especially a Mk5 weapon, Shield and Power Pack.
As you can see, most of the Harkonnen House Troops are located on the western side of the Deep Desert's A row. Tile A1 through to A5 contains around ~55-60 Harkonnen House Troops.
A full run of the Deep Desert's Row A POIs will yield around 1,250 - 1,300 Personal Contribution points.
Harkonnen House Troops In Hagga Basin
The bad news is that there are not a lot of Harkonnen House Troops in Hagga Basin so farming them here alone is going to be tough.
There are two Harkonnen Strongholds which contain Harkonnen House Troops. These are the 'Beast's Claw' and the 'Edge of Acheron'.
Both locations are shown in the images below.
As you will note, there are only around ~15 Harkonnen House Troops between these two locations, with a full run of both only yielding ~300-350 points. The respawn timer on these locations seems to be extremely long as well.
To get the Armor Swatch from these alone, you'd need to run the route 40+ times and even then, a lot of the times I have visited these Strongholds they had already been cleared.
Harkonnen House Troops In Sheol (Wreck of the Ourea)
Finally, you can also find a small number (3-4) of Harkonnen House Troops in Shoel, specifically in the Wreck of the Ourea.
This Wreck is actually just southwest of the Edge of Acheron, so you can hit both of these at the same time.
Remember that Sheol is heavily irradiated so bring a Radiation Suit if travelling there.
Tips To Save Time
As with all 'Killing' Landsraad Tasks, you'll want to follow these tips to save yourself time and maximise your efficiency:
- Use a Scout Ornithopter with the highest level Wings, Engine and Thruster (Boost Module) that you can craft;
- Craft the highest level melee weapon that you can as this is the fastest way to kill Harkonnen House Troops;
- Ensure your items are fully repaired (especially your Shield, Power Pack and Suspensor Belt);
- Ensure you have a Literjon stocked up with plenty of water before you go; and
- Just 'loot all' and then sort out the loot when you get back to your base.
