How To Get Abyss Artifacts in Crimson Desert

Abyss Artifacts are an important part of progression in Crimson Desert. There are many ways to actually get them, though none of them are done by the traditional RPG style of simply levelling up. Instead, Crimson Desert hides them in quest rewards, locations on the map, challenges, and "random" events.

All The Ways You Can Earn Abyss Artifacts in Crimson Desert

Abyss Artifacts are skill points, to put it in simple terms. Finding them allows you to spend them on skills or direct stat increases to your Health, Spirit, or Stamina. These are important, and not having enough of them will be seriously hold you back. But knowing how to get them is half the battle.

Shrines near the roadside will often have Sealed Abyss Artifact challenges

• Defeating enemies or wiping out large camps will sometimes just award you an Abyss Artifact in combat
• Most boss fights will also award an Abyss Artifact when defeated
• You can find Sealed Abyss Artifacts around the map, which require you to complete challenges to then unlock the seal
• Main story quests will often reward Abyss Artifacts at the end or during the quest
• The floating island (Abyss Island) is full of puzzles, many of which reward Abyss Artifacts
• The NPC Patrigio will sell you Abyss Artifacts, selling for 28.5 Silver a pop, though they are not cheap and are incredibly limited
• Achievements will also sometimes award an Abyss Artifact when doing the final challenge
• Doing the Mysterious Energy circles will award you an Abyss Artifact if you interact with the Abyss Cressets
• Abyss Artifacts can also be purchased from the Witch's Lair Shops after Chapter 3
