The Arboria Forest Ruins Puzzle in Crimson Desert is located Northeast of Hernand City over the Hook Rapids. The puzzle rewards an Abyss Artifact for completion, and the Stab skill is learnable here if you don't have it already.
The Arboria Forest Ruins Puzzle is a fairly simple puzzle, and one that can actually be cheesed by mistake if you turn up at the right time. The puzzle has a similar mechanic to the Duskwood Hill Ruins Puzzle, though a much simpler execution.
Arboria Forest Ruins Puzzle Location & How to Get There
To find the Arboria Forest Ruins, head Northeast from Hernand City. You’ll need to navigate toward the Hook Rapids; the ruins are directly north of the Frowde Camp (a location you visit when expanding your Greymane Camp comrades)
- Region: Arboria Forest
- Nearest Landmark: Hook Rapids / Frowde Camp

Rewards for Completion
Completing the puzzle is well worth the detour. Upon finishing the trial, players are granted:
- Abyss Artifact: Arguably the most important collectable item in the game, acting as our "level up" feature
- The "Stab" Skill: If your character hasn't already mastered this ability, the ruins act as a skill shrine where it can be learned instantly

A chance to learn the Stab skill if you've not already got it.
How to Solve the Arboria Forest Ruins Puzzle
The mechanics here will feel familiar to anyone who has tackled the Duskwood Hill Ruins Puzzle. It requires you to Stab pillars and turn the fountain statues to move the flow of water into the fountain.

Step-by-Step Solution:
- Identify the Pillars: There are three statue pillars surrounding the fountain
- Use the Stab Skill: Interact with the slots at the base of each statue using the Stab skill to rotate them - RB + Y ( Xbox) - R1 + Triangle (PS5) - Left Click + Right Click (PC)
- Align the Flow: Each statue has three possible flow positions: Left, Middle, and Right
- The Correct Configuration: You must rotate the statues so that water flows along the sides of the fountain, not into the middle.
Pro Tip: There are three positions that the water can flow into the fountain. Left, middle, and right. It is possible to have the water flow with the statue in a position so that the middle and right have water flowing into them. For the puzzle to work, the flow of water must be on the sides and not the middle.

The "Rainy Day" Cheese Strategy
Interestingly, the Arboria Puzzle can be bypassed entirely by accident. Because the objective is to "fill the fountain," natural rainfall counts toward the completion trigger.
If it is raining when you arrive at the ruins, the puzzle may auto-complete without you touching a single statue.
Before you start the puzzle, check the plinth: If the Abyss Artifact is glowing blue, the rain has already solved it for you. Simply walk up and loot the Abyss Artifact to finish the location.
