Midnight professions are receiving a few minor updates in WoW Patch 12.1, including new recipes and new materials. This guide covers all of the Profession changes that are happening with the Curse of Ula'tek Patch:
Midnight Profession Knowledge Point Reset
With the release of WoW Midnight Patch 12.1, players will be able to reset their knowledge points, but this can only be done once per Midnight Profession. This will reset all of your spent knowledge points, and let you allocate them again.
Note: Any recipes that you have unlocked through previously spending knowledge points will be unlearned.

New Recipes in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1
Midnight Patch 12.1 introduces a host of new recipes for some professions; most of these are obtained from Renown or vendors. If you are looking for more information on what recipes you can get for the main renown on The Coiled Isle, check out our Zul'jarra's Forces Renown Guide.
New Alchemy Recipes
New recipes for Alchemy in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Concentrated Silvermoon Health Potion - New Health Potion.
- Liquid Luster - Stacking Versatility Potion.
- Alluring Nostrum - Area of Effect damage potion that will occasionally slow you.
- Ersatz Venom Splatter - Housing Item
New Blacksmithing Recipes
New Blacksmithing Recipes being released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Odious Alloy - This is a new Alloy crafted from Umbral Tin Ore, Luminant Flux and Refulgent Copper Ingot.
- Amani Forgemaster's Decorative Spear - Housing Item
- Amani Forgemaster's Rack - Housing Item
- Amani Forgemaster's Workbench - Housing Item
- Hunter's Ritual Stone - New Embellishment to gain secondary stats when doing Prey.
New Enchanting Recipes
New Enchanting Recipes being released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Enchant Weapon - Rite Of The Hash'ey - Weapon Enchant giving random secondaries. Favours your highest secondary stats when above 80% health.
- Furious Tiki Mask - Housing Item
- Keen Hex Mask - Housing Item
New Engineering Recipes
New Engineering Recipes being released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Coiled Snake-Eye: Embellishment that adds a random secondary stat proc. If triggered by a crit, it will select your highest secondary stat.
- Schematic: G-00 - A new Loot-a-Rang toy
- R0cky-To-Go - Consumable that reduces falling speed
- Schematic: R0cky - Helmet enchant parachute item you can use.
- Aetherlume Field Lamp - Housing Item
New Jewelcrafting Recipes
New Jewelcrafting Recipes being released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Refine Crystalline Glass - Upgrades a rank 1 Crystalline Glass to rank 2.
- Refine Duskshrouded Stone - Upgrades a rank 1 Duskshroud stone to rank 2.
- Polished Ammolite - New Embellishment which gives a random crit proc.
New Tailoring Recipes
New Tailoring Recipes being released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Snakeskin Lining - New Embellishment that adds a random nature damage over time proc.
- Tortollan Slingsack - Housing Item
Leatherworking Recipes
New Leatherworking Recipes being released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Adorned Fang - New embellishment that adds a haste proc.
- Pattern: Flat Snakeskin Canopy - Housing Item
- Mounted Moby - Housing Item
- Stretched Snakeskin Rack - Housing Item
New Materials in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1
There are a couple of new materials coming out in Midnight Patch 12.1, you obtain these from herbalism and mining.
The New Materials released in Midnight Patch 12.1:
- Neutralized Venom Clot - These are obtained from Venom Infused Mining and Herbalism nodes.
- Cursebound Globe - These are obtained from cursebound Mining and Herbalism nodes.

New Fishing Updates in WoW Midnight
Midnight Patch 12.1 has some new fishing content being released; it includes fishing in venomous pools for new Coiled Isle specific fish, earning a new currency used for a few collectible rewards (Coiled Filament), new achievements to unlock and even a new fishing rod that has some unique interactions and effects.

Overall Midnight Professions are getting some nice updates, having the ability to reset your Profession Knowledge Points is a nice way of letting players change their decisions when it comes to their Midnight Profession Specializations.
