Neutralized Venom and Cursebound Globe are new materials that can only be farmed on The Coiled Isle, the zone released in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1. Both of these items only drop from special nodes, Venomous and Cursed nodes, which exclusively spawn on the Coiled Isle.
This guide includes farming routes for collecting Neutralized Venom Clot and Cursebound Globe through Herbalism and Mining and information on how gathering from the Venomous and Cursed nodes work for both of the new materials.
How to Farm Neutralized Venom Clot in WoW Midnight
The Neutralized Venom Clot is looted from the Venomous Nodes, found around The Coiled Isle. Neutralized Venom Clot can be collected from both Herbalism and Mining Gathering Professions.
When you mine or herb a Venomous Node they have a bar above them that slowly drains, dealing a small amount of damage over time to you; once the bar is empty, green puddles will spawn on the floor, when you run into them it will grant you a Neutralized Venom Clot.
Note: You can’t use Overload Infused Deposit or Overload Infused Herb on the Venomous nodes.
The Venomous nodes only spawn when you have the Cursed Land and Waters Buff; you get this buff by completing a Curse Surge on the Coiled Isle.
How To Farm Cursebound Globes in WoW Midnight
Cursebound Globe are looted from Cursed Nodes, found around The Coiled Isle. Cursebound Globe can be collected from both Herbalism and Mining Gathering Professions.
Note: You can use the Overload Infused Deposit or Overload Infused Herb on the respective Cursed Nodes. This will make you channel on the node for 3 seconds and grant you up to 3 Cursebound Globe.
When Mining or Herbing the Cursed nodes, you receive 1-2 Cursebound Globe and it will grant you The Isles Blessing Buff, which increases your Deftness (increased gathering speed) by 15 for 5 minutes.
Neutralized Venom Clots and Cursebound Globes Farming Routes
The Coiled Isle is fairly small, making farming Neutralized Venom Clot and Cursebound Globe from Ore and Herbs in this zone fairly efficient; it's also the only place you can find Venomous and Cursed Nodes.
We have included a farming route for Cursed and Venomous nodes, which we think is a great gathering route for both Herbalism and Mining Professions to collect Neutralized Venom Clot and Cursebound Globe.
The route is very simple to follow, just be cautious of the higher density of enemy mobs in the center of the Coiled Isle and don’t forget you can Overload Cursed Herbs and Mining nodes for extra materials, including Cursebound Globe.
The Neutralized Venom Clot and Cursebound Globe materials are used in a variety of new recipes, and could be valuable if some of those recipes become popular in Midnight Season 2.
