During each WoW Midnight season players can earn Sparks that can be used to craft different pieces of gear. While crafting you can add Embellishments on to your gear for extra player power.
As the seasons progress there might be different recommendations on what Embellishments to use or you might want to swap the Embellishment on to a different slot. This can cause some issues as you can only have 2 Embellishments equipped at the same time, meaning you will likely need to recraft gear or remove the Embellishments from the crafted items.
Note: Some items come pre-embellished and they cannot have the embellishments removed. If you would like to learn more about all of the Embellishments you can check out our Midnight Embellishments Guide.
Removing Embellishments from Midnight Crafted Gear
To remove Embellishments from crafted gear you will need to buy the Lucky Keychain from the Auction House. Once you have the Lucky Keychain you can recraft your crafted item and add in the Lucky Keychain into the Optional Reagents slot.
The Lucky Keychain will only work on crafted items that have an Embellishment added to them, items such as the Loa Worshiper's Band cannot have the Embellishment removed as it has come pre-embellished.

Recrafting your crafted items with a Lucky Keychain will remove any added Embellishment from the item and give it +1 Sparkle. The +1 Sparkle doesn’t give your character any additional power but it will give you an extra chance to use the special jumping animation for your character.

Alternatively if you are just looking to replace an Embellishment on the same item you can purchase the desired Embellishment from the Auction House and select it in the optional reagents slot when recrafting without having to use the Lucky Keychain.
We hope this guide has helped you remove any unwanted embellishments. If you are looking for more WoW Midnight content make sure to check out our World of Warcraft Guides.
