In WoW Midnight Patch 12.1, and Midnight Season 2, there are a whole lot of new mounts to add to your collection. There are over 20 new mounts from various different sources, with many of them coming from some of the new events, rares and reputations found on The Coiled Isle, added in WoW Patch 12.1.
We have provided a list of all of the new WoW Mounts from Patch 12.1 (Midnight Season 2) and a summary of how you can unlock them for your own collection. Ruby Writhe WoW Mount
The Ruby Writhe Mount can drop from any of the Rares on The Coiled Isle. Each rare can be defeated once per day, but can be defeated on multiple characters, giving you more chances to loot the Mount.
Topaz Skyfang WoW Mount
The Topaz Skyfang Mount can drop from any of the Rares on The Coiled Isle. Each rare can be defeated once per day, but can be defeated on multiple characters, giving you more chances if you have more characters.
Indigo Coiled Horror WoW Mount
You can add the Indigo Coiled Horror to your mount collection by purchasing it from Jan’sari the Watchful after earning Rank 17 with the Zul'jarra's Forces Reputation.
Violet-Backed Skyfang WoW Mount
To gain the Violet-Backed Skyfang you will need to earn level 19 with the Zul’jarra’s Forces Renown and then purchase the Violet-Backed Skyfang from Jan’sari the Watchful.
Spirit of Tok’jara WoW Mount
To earn the Spirit of Tok’jara you will need to complete a questline after earning level 10 with Zul’jarra’s Forces Reputation. You can learn more in our Spirit of Tok’jara Mount Guide.
Sea-Dwelling Isle Serpent WoW Mount
To gain the Sea-Dwelling Isle Serpent mount you will need to earn reputation with Captain Tokka. Check out our Sea-Dwelling Isle Serpent Mount Guide to learn more.
Auriferous Venomfang WoW Mount
To gain the Auriferous Venomfang you will need to find and loot all of the Treasures on The Coiled Isle.
Emerald Skyfang WoW Mount
To earn the Emerald Skyfang mount you will need to complete 250 Temple Patrols. To learn more about the Temple Patrols, check out our Emerald Skyfang Mount Guide.
Venomous Coiler WoW Mount
To gain the Venomous Coiler mount you will need to complete the Assault the Vault meta achievement. You can learn more about this achievement in our Venomous Coil Mount Guide.
Crimson Venomfang WoW Mount
You can earn the Crimson Venomfang mount by completing the raid achievements to unlock the Glory of the Venomous Raider Achievement.
Primeval Skyfriend WoW Mount
The Primeval Skyfriend mount is earned by defeating Ula’tek on Mythic Difficulty and being one of the lucky raiders to loot it. During the Midnight Expansion it will drop 3 per boss kill, but will still have a very low drop chance when defeating Mythic Ula’tek after the Midnight WoW Expansion ends.
The Writhing Brood WoW Mount
The Writhing Brood mount has a chance to drop from Zul’jan, a Boss in the new Altar of Fangs dungeon.
Apophic Soul Crusher WoW Mount
The Apophic Soul Crusher is earned by defeating the Midnight Season 2 Nemesis Delve Boss Azta’rec on ?? difficulty while not in a group (Solo). Doing so will unlock the Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec Achievement and reward the Mount.
Corroded Soul Crusher WoW Mount
To earn the Corroded Soul Crusher mount you will need to gain Delver level 5 in the Delver’s Journey renown, then purchase the mount from Telemancer Astandis.
Delver’s Arcane Golem WoW Mount
The Delver’s Arcane Golem can be found inside of a Sturdy Chest in the Gnarldor Isle Delve.
Hexflame Reaver WoW Mount
The Hexflame Reaver has a chance to drop from Ral’kala during Prey. To learn more about this mount, check out our Hexflame Reaver Mount Guide.
Preyhunter’s Fury WoW Mount
You can earn the Preyhunter’s Fury mount by gaining enough reputation to hit level 10 in the Prey Journeys renown, then purchasing the mount from Construct V’anore.
Breath of Blight WoW Mount
The Breath of Blight mount is earned by gaining 2000 Mythic+ score in Midnight Season 2, which unlocks the Midnight Keystone Master: Season 2 Achievement.
Breath of Ruin WoW Mount
The Breath of Ruin mount is earned after gaining 3000 Mythic+ score in Midnight Season 2, which unlocks the Midnight Keystone Legend: Season 2 Achievement.
Caustic Venomfang WoW Mount
