How to get the Spirit of Tok'jara Mount
The Spirit of Tok’jara is a Ghostly Eagle Flying mount introduced in WoW Midnight Patch 12.1. The mount has several requirements including reaching level 10 Renown with Zul’jarra’s Forces and then completing several daily quests.
In this guide we will go over how to get to The Coiled Isle, how to start earning reputation with the Zul’jarra’s Forces and where to start and complete the 6 daily quests required to unlock the Spirit of Tok’jara Mount.
Unlock The Coiled Isle and Zul’jarra’s Forces
Unlocking The Coiled Isle and the Zul’jarra’s Forces renown track is fairly simple. You just need to complete the Curse of Ula'tek Quest Campaign.
The campaign starts by picking up the starting Quest, Hagar’s Invitation, from Orweyna in the Center of Silvermoon City. As this quest could have been completed in the Patch 12.0.7, you may need to start the second chapter, which can be accepted from Lady Liadrin, who can be found in Amai’Zar Village in Zul’Aman.

Reach Renown Level 10 with Zul’jarra’s Forces
Zul’jarra’s Forces is the main Renown reputation introduced in Patch 12.1 of WoW Midnight. You will need to get to Renown level 10 to be able to unlock the Spirit of Tok’jara mount.
Farming the reputation is fairly simple, but there is a limit on the amount you can earn per week.
You can gain reputation with the Zul’jarra’s Forces from several one time sources, here is a list of the rep sources and accompanying guides:
- Completing the campaign (this will give you a large amount of reputation)
- Collecting all Coiled Isle Treasures
- Finding all Coiled Isle Lore Objects
- Killing all Coiled Isle Rares
Once you have done these one time reputation gains, you will be able to do weekly quests or world quests around the Coiled Isle for additional reputation.
Complete The Innocent Essence Questline
Once you reach Renown 10 with the Zul’jarra’s Forces, you will unlock the Innocent Essence Questline. The end of this questline rewards you with the Spirit of Tok’jara mount.
The first quest is found in the Vault’s of Atal’Utek, it is called Ancestral Gems and can be picked up from Du’gal who can be found in the Amani Basecamp.

Once you have completed the Ancestral Gems Quest, you will need to wait until the next day, when you will then be able to get the next quest, Dark Charms; this will repeat for 6 days in total as you progress through the following quests:
After making your way through the daily questline and completing the final quest, The Innocent Essence, you will be rewarded with the Spirit of Tok’jara mount.
Note: All of these quests take part in the deepest part of The Vaults of Atal’utek, where mobs deal significant damage and will most likely require a group early into WoW Midnight Patch 12.1.
If you decide you want to continue doing these quests beyond receiving the Spirit of Tok’jara mount, Du’gal will actually continue to give you daily quests that reward 200 Corrosive Coins.
