Phoniel Ranch Mysterious Energy is one of many confusing clue-based puzzles in the world. This one is for the Azure Moon Labyrinth, and getting into it is fairly simple, though the room is guarded by a lot of traps, which make getting to the actual puzzle a bit tricky.

Overall, this is a fairly simple puzzle that is harder to get to than it is to solve. Like many puzzles, you can of course follow all of the clues but it takes a considerable amount of time, so if you just want the answers quickly then read on.

Investigate the Phoniel Ranch Mysterious Energy

First, we need to get to the puzzle itself. To do that, head to the stable, and you will be looking for a small shack as shown above. In here, head down the ladder to descend into the first part of the puzzle.

The first part of the puzzle is the strange part: There are a lot of fire traps here, and you have two options to get past them:

1. Shimmy across the ledges, avoiding the fire and the spike pit below, before dropping onto the platform. You must then avoid the falling rocks before running down the stairs to the lever.
2. The alternative strategy is to "YOLO" run and jump to the first platform, wait for the burning to stop, then run and glide to the second one. Again, avoid the falling rubble and pull the lever.

Now it's time to do the actual puzzle. If you want to do it properly with clues, then we list how to do this below:

1. Before the puzzle room, look at the mural of the local farm, which features some trees
2. The room is full of "letters" which we need to push in order to open the door
3. The mural on the wall gives us the location of the trees in the local area, which have symbols on them
4. Heading to each of the five trees will show us the symbols we need to press
5. Example - the tree to the closest right on the north side of the farm will show a "P" when you find the tree in the world

Once you push all of these into place, the door will open, and you will get your reward. You will get a crucial Abyss Artifact and a Memory of Tide. You will need to use that in your inventory to permanently reveal the locations of a number of the hidden areas in Hernands southern reaches and coasts.
