If you have come across the Traveler's Camp, on the southwest part of the Tutorial Island, and are wondering where the second Unique Chest is, then you've arrived at the right place.
Important Note: you will need a Shovel to be able to find the second Unique Chest.
Where To Find The Second Chest At The Traveler's Camp
When you reach the Traveler's Camp in the southwest section of the Tutorial Island, you will find a Decrepit Chest beside a Tent. This is the first Unique Chest and when you loot it you will receive a Curio called Twist of Fancy.
This Curio provides you with the information you need to find the second chest, specifically at the end of the note which reads:
"I'll bury the excess gear nearby, beneath the tree marked with a red flag. Maybe I'll visit this place again someday"
As the note clearly says, the treasure is buried underneath a tree marked with a red flag which you can find directly west of the camp. The second Unique Chest is buried right beside the tree, just south of it.
In order to dig up the Unique Chest, you will need to 'Dig' using a Shovel. You can craft a Shovel at the Workbench for 3 Copper Ingots and 10 Wood. Once you have it equipped, hit X to change the shovel 'mode' from Attack to Dig and when you see an orange circle appear on the ground, you'll know you are digging in the right area.
Loot the treasure to receive the following:
- 5x Healing Potion
- 5x Greater Healing Potion
- 10x Homemade Gunpowder
