Silver Ingots and Gold Ingots both serve a unique purpose in Windrose: upgrading your jewellery, which as of right now consists of Necklaces and Rings.
You will no doubt quickly run out of both of these crafting materials once you start trying out a few different builds but in this short guide we'll show you how you can obtain them from every POI and how you can continue to farm them once you've exhausted that initial supply.
Important: You might think that Silver Ingots and Gold Ingots have a finite supply but they do not. As with Tumbaga Ingots, both can be farmed endlessly.

Where To Find Silver Ingots In Windrose (One-Time POIs)
The main source of Silver Ingots as you progress throughout Windrose are the Blackbeard Maps. There are nine Blackbeard Maps that you will find in various POIs throughout the game, that when looted, will award 10x Silver Ingots. That means you can obtain 90x Silver Ingots from these treasures.
Tip: Blackbeard Maps show up as an 'X' on your map and the treasure must be dug up with a shovel when you get there.
You can also loot a small number of Silver Ingots from various other Coastal Jungle and Foothills POIs.
Where to Farm Silver Ingots In Windrose (Infinite Supply)
After you've exhausted the Silver Ingots from the POIs (which can only be looted once), you'll be glad to know that there is a location where they can be farmed endlessly, and very easily. There is only one location where you will find Silver Ingots in Windrose and that location is the 'Undead-Infested Shipwrecks' in the Coastal Jungle.
At this location, you'll be able to find around 10 'Old Barrels' that each contain 1-4 Silver Ingots. A full sweep of the POI, which only takes a few minutes, will yield a whopping 30-40 Silver Ingots.
This POI is defended by low level enemies, mostly Level ~5-6 Drowned and Thorn Fiddlers so it's pretty easy to just run around them.
Tip: Inside one of the shipwrecks there is a 'Rickety Door' that you have to destroy. Inside there are 3x Old Barrels.
Where To Find Gold Ingots In Windrose (One-Time POIs)
Gold Ingots are generally harder to come by in Windrose and are typically awarded for completing puzzles or more challenging POIs. The main POI sources for Gold Ingots are listed below:
- Ancient Ruins (Coastal Jungle)
- Ancient Fire Sanctuary (Foothills)
- Trial Circle Ruins (Foothills)
- Crypts (Cursed Swamps)
I wouldn't really suggest going out of your way to try and find these, as you'll naturally acquire them as you complete the POIs in each zone. You'll also acquire enough to ascend your first few pieces of jewellery to Epic.
Where to Farm Gold Ingots In Windrose (Infinite Supply)
As with Silver Ingots, Gold Ingots can also be farmed endlessly, though not quite as easily. There is also only one location where you will find Gold Ingots in Windrose and that location is the 'Blackbeard Ruins Excavation Site' in the Foothills.
At the Excavation Site, you will be able to loot 'Ancient Containers' which each contain 1-3 Gold Ingots. There's around 7-8 Containers there so you can expect to walk away with about 15 Gold Ingots each time you farm the site.
The Excavation Site is pretty heavily guarded however, by level 10 Sailors, Sergeants and Musketeers. There's a lot of ranged attacks so if you are just running through, try and weave a bit, and bring some healing potions too.
