All Armor Sets In Windrose: Which Set Is Best?

Written by MJM - 16th April 2026

You've probably noticed by now that all of the Rare Armor in Windrose (other than jewellery) is part of different sets. Each set has a two-piece and four-piece set bonus which is activated when you equip two or four pieces of that armor set.

In this short guide, we'll show you every set that's available, break down the set bonuses for each, and then advise on which sets we think are best to aim for.

All Armor Sets & Set Bonuses In Windrose

Conquistador Set

The Conquistador Set is a 'tanky' set that reduces the damage you take by 15% (2P) and allows you to continue attacking without being interrupted by other attacks (4P). The 2P bonus from this set is really powerful so we'd highly recommend you get it.

  • Two-Piece Bonus: Increases Damage Resistance by 15%.
  • Four-Piece Bonus: Grants Bulwark effect - the first few hits you take do not interrupt your actions.

The Conquistador Set is upgraded with Ingots as the primary resource.

Flibustier Set

The Flibustier set is, of course, for one-handed builds. The 2P bonus is helpful but not game-breaking, however the 4P bonus is much stronger so with this set we'd recommend either going the full hog to 4P or skipping it.

  • Two-Piece Bonus: Attacks consume 20% less Stamina.
  • Four-Piece Bonus: Increases one-handed weapon Damage by 15%.

The Flibustier set is upgraded with Leather as the primary resource.

Marksman Set

Naturally the Marksman Set is niche and will only be useful for builds that are focused primarily around ranged weapons. R

  • Two-Piece Bonus: Sprinting, Jump, and Dash consume 30% less Stamina.
  • Four-Piece Bonus: Increases Ranged Damage by 15%.

The Flibustier set is upgraded with Cloth/Linen as the primary resource.

Pikeman Set

The Pikeman Set is really solid at both 2P and 4P. If you are playing a 2H build then obviously the 4P bonus is very powerful however the 2P bonus is so strong that we'd recommend it throughout the entirety of the early game. Until you have a lot of points in Vitality, it's about a 30% health increase.

  • Two-Piece Bonus: Increases maximum Health by 160.
  • Four-Piece Bonus: Increases two-handed weapon Damage by 15%

The Pikeman set is upgraded with Ingots as the primary resource.

Privateer Set

The Privateer Set can be extremely powerful but you need to develop a build around it. The Razor weapon for example gives another +10% crit chance and you can stack Mastery + Talents to push this further. For the late game this could be a very solid choice in certain builds.

  • Two-Piece Bonus: Increases Critical Hit Chance by 10%.
  • Four-Piece Bonus: Increases Critical Damage by 10% for each nearby enemy, up to 30%.

The Privateer Set is upgraded with Cloth/Linen as the primary resource.

Tracker Set

Finally we have the Tracker Set which is honestly kind of odd. The 2P is kind of useful but when compared to something like the Pikeman Set it completely pales in comparison. The 4P bonus is the same as the Conquistador Set 2P bonus so you can see what I'm getting at here. Avoid.

  • Two-Piece Bonus: Increases effectiveness of all healing by 35%
  • Four-Piece Bonus: Increases Damage Resistance by 15%.

The Tracker set is upgraded with Leather as the primary resource.

Best Armor Sets in Windrose

So with all of that in mind, what's best and what do we recommend?

Best Early to Mid Game Armor Sets

Throughout the early-mid game, we'd recommend the following:

  • Pikeman Set 2P: +160 HP
  • Conquistador Set 2P: +15% Damage Resistance

This game is pretty hard, even on Standard, with mobs chunking you down super fast, so +25-30% health and 15% Damage Reduction is going to make your life so much easier. Your last slot can be anything, it doesn't really matter.

Best Late Game Armor Sets

The combo we suggested for the early-mid game will still go hard even late game, but because the bonus health is a fixed amount, there are better options available. There's actually quite a lot of options available too and it will really depend on the build you are running, so we'll list them out below:

  • 1H Build = Flibustier Set (4P)
  • 2H Build = Pikeman Set (4P)
  • Ranged Build = Marksman Set (4P)
  • Crit Build = Privateer Set (4P)

We'll continue to update this as new armor gets added or as we test new builds etc. Hope this helps for now!
