The Ring of Glory Delve Overview
This section covers things relevant to all versions of The Ring of Glory Delve.
Delve Mobs
The Ring of Glory contains a lot of undead Troll mobs, they are not too hard to deal with and has some overlap with some Zul’aman delves.
Arisen Warsinger are ghostly Trolls that have one important ability summon War Drum, this will summon an attackable War Drum that buffs nearby enemies with 20% increased haste. These do not despawn when Arisen Warsinger
Restless Spiritcaller are ghostly casters that have two casts, Soul Impale which summons a row of circle that deal heavy damage if you remain inside them. The other ability is Soul Siphon, a channeled ability this deals heavy damage and heals the spiritcaller for the amount dealt, you can and should interrupt this.
Delve Boss
The boss for The Ring of Glory is Drakta, while the mechanics are fairly simple they do punish you pretty hard if not dealt with.
His first ability is Soul Cleave, which is a large circle around himself which deals heavy damage and leaves behind a Voidzone. Death Grip causes Drakta to pull in his furthest away target. Finally Roar of the Champion reduces the movement speed of Drakta and increases his damage by 80%.
The best way to deal with Drakta is to tank him close to one of the pillars, when he drops the circle move around the pillar, this way he will not deathgrip you back into the voidzone. Whenever he uses Roar of the Champion make sure to again line of sight him so he does not grip you and hit you with increased damage.
Delve Mechanic
The delve mechanic for The Ring of Glory Delve is that there are several traps throughout the delve. They come in several varieties; they are all on the floor and deal significant damage if you trigger them.
The Ring of Glory Delve Story Variations
There are three story variants for The Ring of Glory.
Open Night
In the Open Night version of The Ring of Glory Delve, you will need to clear the arena floor of enemies. On higher difficulties some of these may be replaced with Nemesis mobs so be very wary.
Once you have done this Crashfoot, a large rhino will spawn that you need to defeat. He uses Savage Gore, which puts a bleed on his main target. He also uses Stampeding Charge, twhich deals heavy damage unless you hide behind a wall to stop the cast.
Once Crasfoot is defeated, 3 murlocs will spawn, focus the two smaller casters and interrupt them. Once all three murlocs are defeated, Brinebeater, a sea giant, will spawn. He has three abilities, Tidal Smash which spawns a large circle around him, Tidal Rage which increases damage by 60% this can and should be interrupted. Finally, Break Water, which spawns a circle around all players and Valeera, which deals damage and will knock players in the air if they remain in the circle.
Next you will take on Guth’kar the Bound, a large voidwalker, he's fairly easy to defeat as long as you keep Curse of Dread Interrupted. If you have Valeera on DPS she will interrupt the Void Bolts.
Finally three ghostly trolls will spawn, focus Hexspitter Zit’ka and keep her interrupted. Once you have defeated these you can take on the boss.
Game Day
In the Game Day Version of The Ring of Glory you will need to kick skulls into the nearby pillars. To get the skulls, you either find them scattered around the delve or the are dropped on the floor by the mobs in the delve.
Clicking on a skull will move it around 25 yards in front of you, aim at the pillars and click to hit them. The pillars are guarded by floating masks, kicking the skull into a mask will cause it to bounce off and not count as a goal. Each goal you score against a pillar will increase the amount of masks.
Once you have scored all 8 goals you will be able to take on the boss.
Adopt-a-thon
In the Adopt-a-thon version of The Ring of Glory you will need to defeat enemies around the area to fill the bar, while trying to rescue frightened animals. The animals will run away from you so try to push them into a corner to collect them, you can click on them before they run but it is quite difficult.
Once you have rescued 8 animals and filled the bar to 100% the boss Gnok. Gnok has two phases the first he will use Upheaval on his furthest target this puts a large circle around them and will cause a puddle at the end of the cast. He will also use Pulverize, this deals moderate damage to his main target.
Once he reaches 0, he will be resurrected with full health starting Phase 2. His abilities are Necrotic Upheaval; this does a frontal that you can sidestep, these will also leave behind voidzones.
Ejecting Decay causes Gnok to spawn small circles around him, and a large circle on all players and Valeera. Make sure to side step these as they deal fairly heavy damage and the larger circles will knock you in the air.
The Ring of Glory Sturdy Chest locations in Midnight WoW
There are 3 sturdy chests located in The Ring of Glory Delve. You do not need any special delve variant active in order to find. While it is a small delve the chests are fairly hard to find, we have included maps and coordinates to help you find it.
