Slumbering Coil Curios, often referred to as omni tokens, are available in Season 2 of WoW Midnight and drop from Ula’tek, the final boss of the Venomous Abyss Raid. These Curios can be traded with an NPC Vendor for any Tier Token that drops from the Venomous Abyss Raid.
Tier Token Slots and Item Level in Midnight Season 2
In WoW Midnight Season 2 you can purchase either Chest, Legs, Shoulders, Gloves or Helmet Tier Tokens in exchange for a Slumbering Coil Curio. These Tier Tokens will reward the same starting item level as the boss they would normally drop from. For example, the Heroic Tier Token for Legs drop from Sszorak at Item Level 305, so you will receive 305 Item Level legs when you purchase the Tier Token with a Slumbering Coil Curio.
There are 4 Different versions of the Slumbering Coil Curio:
- LFR Ul’atek: Slumbering Coil Curio
- Normal Ul’atek: Slumbering Coil Curio
- Heroic Ul’atek: Slumbering Coil Curio
- Mythic Ul’atek: Slumbering Coil Curio

Roll for Tertiary Stats or a Helm Socket with Slumbering Coil Curios
In WoW Midnight Season 2, exchanging a Slumbering Coil Curio for a Tier Token means that you will be able to roll Tertiary Stats (Speed, Leech or Avoidance) on the item, and have the chance to roll a socket on the helmet.
This wasn’t always possible, as in the past, Omni Tokens (Curios) were sometimes exchanged for the specific Tier Items directly from the Curios Vendor. This meant there was no opportunity for it to roll Tertiary Stats or a Socket. But in Midnight Season 2, the Slumbering Coil Curios make rolling a Tertiary Stat or Socket possible again.
Slumbering Coil Curios are a great way to acquire some of the Tier Pieces you are missing. Hopefully this short guide will help you find Ki’rula, the Slumbering Coil Curios Vendor, and obtain your Tier Items in Midnight Season 2.
