The Coiled Isle is the new feature Zone released in WoW Patch 12.1 of the Midnight Expansion. Throughout the Patch, you will be progressing through all of the new content the zone has to offer. However, it is not immediately obvious that there is a quick and easy way to travel to the Coiled Isle from Silvermoon City.
You won’t have to keep flying through Zul’Aman to The Coiled Isle, instead you can unlock a portal that takes you directly to the main camp on the Coiled Isle.
Unlocking the Portal to the Coiled Isle
The portal to the Coiled Isle is unlocked by completing a short questline involving the Prey system. The first quest in the chain (Prey: A Slithering Threat) is obtained from Astalor Bloodsworn, who can be found inside his sanctum in Silvermoon City.

The Prey: A Slithering Threat Quest requires you to complete one of the new Prey Hunts on the Coiled Isle on Nightmare difficulty.
Note: This means the portal cannot be unlocked during the first week of Midnight Season 2, as Nightmare difficulty Prey Hunts only become available in the second week of WoW Patch 12.1.
After completing this quest, you will receive the follow-up quest, Prey: Anguish Island. This quest requires you to take a portal back to the Coiled Isle. Once unlocked, the portal will remain available and can be used whenever you wish.

We recommend completing the entire quest chain, as doing so will also unlock the new Prey boss, Ral’Kala, as it has some great rewards.
The Coiled Isle portal provides a convenient way to reach the Coiled Isle. Without it, you will need to take a relatively long flight across Zul’Aman, so it's definitely worth unlocking as early as possible to help cut down on travel time to the new Raid, Dungeon and Patch content.
