How to Quickly Catch-up on Building the Voidforge Weekly Quest

The Voidforge is a new player power system allowing you to roll for bonus items and upgrade weapons and trinkets to a higher item level. Blizzard built up to the Voidforge early by allowing us to complete a weekly quest called Building The Voidforge. This quest gives the player Elementary Voidcore Shards for completing end game content.

Completing this quest was fairly easy but if you missed out on a week you still complete the quest multiple times until you are caught up allowing all players to reach the maximum 5/5 before the release of the patch.

Completing Building The Voidforge

To begin catching up you will need to pick up the quest Building The Voidforge. This can be picked up from Decimus in Voidstorm.

Once you have picked up the Building the Voidforge quest you can start gaining Elementary Voidcore Shards from endgame content. Overall there are 3 different ways to gain the Elementary Voidcore Shards:

• Mythic+
• Defeating Raid Bosses
• Bountiful Delves

Completing any of the listed endgame content will reward you with 1 Elementary Voidcore Shard meaning you will need to defeat 3 raid bosses or complete 3 Mythic + Keys to complete the quest a single time.

Best Way To Catch Up With The Voidforge

If you have fallen behind on any of the weeks that the quest was available you may need to complete the quest several times to catch up. Luckily this won’t be much of a hassle as you are guaranteed to drop a single Elementary Void Shard from defeating Raid Bosses, completing Mythic and completing Bountiful Delves.

In order to catch up quickly we recommend:

• 1 Week Behind - Defeat 3-4 raid bosses (Dreamrift and first 3 Voidspire) depending on how many weeks behind you are.
• 2 Weeks Behind - Follow step 1 then complete 2 Bountiful Delves.
• 3+ Weeks Behind - Follow step 1 and then complete all 4 of your daily Bountiful Delves then complete as many Mythic + Dungeons as possible at any key level. (You can also progress your Weekly Vault at the same time).

Make sure you pick up the quest again after every completion.
