Lindormi’s Guidance was introduced with the Midnight WoW expansion, adding Mythic+ Mob Glow to Highlight enemies that will add up to the total force requirements for a Mythic+ dungeon. This was originally only available in keys lower than 6, where it also lowers enemies' health and damage by a small percentage.
In Patch 12.0.5 Blizzard introduced Lindormi’s Glow for keys higher than 6, however unlike the previous version the highlighted mobs is a purely visual aid and does not reduce the enemies health or damage and can be toggled on and off between dungeons.
How to turn on Lindormi’s Glow
There are currently two ways to turn on Lindormi’s Glow. The first is in Silvermoon by visiting Lindormi near the portal to the timeways. Here she will have the option to any player whose class has a Tank specialization.

/way #2393 42.2 58.8
The other way is to speak to Lindormi at the end of a Mythic+ dungeon, she will have the option to turn it on. It will automatically activate if you are the tank specialization in the key, it has no effect if you are either DPS or Healer.
To switch Lindormi’s Glow off you just speak to Lindormi who will have the option to turn it off.
Should You Use Lindormi’s Glow
Lindormi’s Glow is great to learn the dungeons as a tank, without the pressure of trying to remember a route. However, it definitely feels better in some dungeons than others. Here we have broken down which dungeons we think it generally feels better in.
Great
These routes are generally pretty good, they do not differ from typical efficient routes that much. Although they may occasionally pull some particular strong mobs that would usually be skipped.
- Magisters’ Terrace
- Skyreach
- Windrunner Spire
Good
These are pretty good although diverge a fair bit from typical routes and will usually pull powerful mobs that are usually skipped.
- Pit of Saron
- Seat of Triumvirate
- Nexus-Point Xenas
- Algethar Academy
Bad
There is only one bad Lindormi Route, Maisara Caverns. While it is fine for lower keys generally once you start pushing to 12s and higher the mobs it pulls and poor direction at the start avoiding the Hearty Vilebranch Stew buff generally makes it a lot more difficult compared to more optimized routes.
Overall Lindormi’s Glow is a great place to start learning to tank and what mobs to pull. However, if you are looking for more optimized routes make sure to check our Dungeon Guides.
