Devourer Demon Hunter Midnight Gearing Guide

Midnight Season 2 Devourer Demon Hunter Tier Set Bonuses:

• (2) Set Bonus: Harvesting 4 or more Soul Fragments with Reap has a 20% chance to cause your next Consume to be instant cast and explode in a Soulburst, dealing Cosmic damage to nearby enemies.
• (4) Set Bonus: Soulburst Generates 2 Soul Fragments and grants Moment Of Craving. Reap deals 10% increased damage.

Tier Set Bonus Discussion:

The season two Devourer tier bonuses are incredibly powerful as they significantly boost your Soul generation, while also increasing your raw output. While the two-set bonus - Soulburst - is a large increase, the real gain comes from the four-set bonus which is an estimated 20% damage increase.

The best trinkets for Devourer DH in Midnight Season 2 are:

• Gebbo's Bottomless Bag - Passive proc trinket that grants different secondary stat bonuses.
• Twisted Horror's Tendril - Passive proc trinket that grants Critical Strike.

Alternatives:

• Freightrunner's Flask - On-use trinket that grants Critical Strike.
• Wavecaller's Seastone - Passive proc trinket that has Haste baseline, and grants Intellect on a cycle, increasing and decreasing over time.
• Lightspire Core
• Vile Vial Of Volatile Venom

Your first craft should be Spellbreaker's Warglaive, with the Hunter's Ritual Stone embellishment. While this technically isn’t BiS, due to weapons from the last two Mythic bosses dropping at 344, crafting a weapon first is usually the largest damage increase.

My Recommendation:

1. Spellbreaker's Warglaive with Hunter's Ritual Stone.
2. The second craft should use Arcanoweave Lining as the embellishment, but what should be crafted depends on your gear situation. Feel free to choose one of these three: Silvermoon Agent's Deflectors, Silvermoon Agent's Sneakers or Adherent's Silken Shroud.

Keep in mind, the difference between embellishments isn’t massive, and your BiS embellishment might vary depending on the content you’re doing and your current gear. Simming your character to get the most accurate data is heavily recommended.

Use Thalassian Missive Of The Feverflare for all crafted pieces when possible. This ensures that the item has Haste and Mastery on it.

Note: Make sure that your crafted weapon is a warglaive, so that you can use it for all three specs.

Nebulous Voidcores (Bonus Rolls)

The Midnight Season 2 Bonus Rolls (Nebulous Voidcore) will be available from the start of the season as an alternative reward from your Great Vault. More sources for the bonus rolls will become available later into the Season.

Nebulous Voidcore Bonus Rolls let you target specific loot from a Raid Boss or Mythic+ Dungeon; once an item is received via Bonus Loot, that item is removed from the Bonus Loot Pool.

Ascendant Venomstones

Returning in Patch 12.1.5, the Ascendant Venomstone can be used to further increase the item level of fully-upgraded Weapons, Trinkets and Necklaces.

Once your item is ‘Ascendant Venomforged’ you will no longer be able to upgrade it. Items from Mythic Coiled Altar and Ula'tek will not be upgradable.

The upgrade priority is as follows:

Myth Track Mainhand > Crafted Weapon > Trinkets > Offhand > Necklace

Omnium Folio

The Omnium Folio is a new player power system, released in Midnight Patch 12.0.7 and active for the duration of the Midnight WoW Expansion. By completing a weekly quest, you will unlock more of the Omnium Folio upgrade Tree and can choose from a number of player power enhancements.

• Row 3: Rune Of Lingering
