Tier Sets
Midnight Season 1 Tier Set Bonuses:
- (2) Set Bonus: Void Ray damage increased by 10%.
- (4) Set Bonus: Collapsing Star damage increased by 10% and it now generates 10 Fury.
Devourer’s tier set bonuses aren’t amazing, but they are not bad either. They don’t impact gameplay in any meaningful way, but they do gain value with more targets present.
devourer demon hunter Best in Slot Gear
Mastery and Haste provide significantly more value than Critical Strike and Versatility, so prioritize Mastery into Haste on your gear. I always recommend simming your own character to get a better idea on which items to aim for. But the lists below can act as a good idea for what gear to look for as a Devourer Demon Hunter.

Trinkets
As it stands, the gap between the best trinkets and the second best trinkets is quite large for Devourer. Mythic+ does provide some options if you aren’t able to get hold of the raid trinkets.
The best trinkets for Devourer DH in Midnight Season 1 are:
- Gaze Of The Alnseer - Passive proc trinket that grants massive amounts of primary stat, making it the number one choice in all situations.
- Vaelgor's Final Stare - On-use trinket that gives a massive burst of Mastery, but decays rapidly. A great trinket for Void-Scarred, empowering the burst windows further.
Alternatives:
- Locus-Walker's Ribbon - Passive proc trinket that grants increasingly more Intellect for each time it procs, stacking up to 10 times. For longer fights this is a great trinket.
- Emberwing Feather - On-use trinket that grants Haste for 15 seconds. This is the best option if you can’t get your hands on the best trinkets available.
- Sporelord's Mycelial Insignia - Passie proc trinket that procs a random secondary stat and Leech for 12 seconds.
- Shadow Of The Empyrean Requiem - Passive proc trinket that deals damage to your target. Grants a Haste effect if the target is below 35% health.
- Heart Of Wind - Passive proc trinket that grants Haste for 10 seconds.
Embellishments
Your first craft should be Spellbreaker's Warglaive, with Darkmoon Sigil: Hunt as embellishment. Crafting a weapon first is usually the largest damage increase, and as it’s going to be BiS for Devourer in the future, it’s a safe craft.
The second craft is more flexible and will depend on your gear. You have the option to craft an item in a non-tier slot, such as a Belt or Wrist with Arcanoweave Lining attached, or craft a Loa Worshiper's Band.
If you crafted Loa Worshiper's Band, the third craft should be Silvermoon Agent's Deflectors or Silvermoon Agent's Utility Belt with Stabilizing Gemstone Bandolier. Make sure to remove Darkmoon Sigil: Hunt from your weapon when you’ve done this.
My Recommendation
- 1st craft: Spellbreaker's Warglaive with Darkmoon Sigil: Hunt.
- 2nd craft: Silvermoon Agent's Deflectors with Arcanoweave Lining. Boots and Cloak are also viable options for this craft.
- 3rd craft: Depending on your gear situation, crafting another Spellbreaker's Warglaive can be good if you haven’t got your hands on a myth track weapon yet. If you have a weapon already, you can start replacing low item level pieces with crafted pieces.
Keep in mind, the difference between embellishments isn’t massive, and your BiS embellishment might vary depending on the content you’re doing and your current gear. Simming your character to get the most accurate data is heavily recommended.
Use Thalassian Missive Of The Feverflare for all crafted pieces when possible. This ensures that the item has Haste and Mastery on it.
Note: Make sure that your crafted weapon is a warglaive, so that you can use it for all three specs.
Bonus Rolls (Nebulous Voidcores)
With the release of patch 12.0.5, you’ll be able to obtain and use Nebulous Voidcores to easily target specific pieces of gear from either Raid bosses or M+ Dungeons.
Once an item has been looted once via Bonus Rolls, that item is removed from the loot pool from future Bonus Rolls.
Your high priority items to spend your Bonus Rolls on are as follows:
| Target Item | Difficulty | Source / Drop |
| Gaze Of The Alnseer | Mythic | Chimaerus the Undreamt God |
| Vaelgor's Final Stare | Mythic | Vaelgor & Ezzorak |
| Eternal Voidsong Chain | Mythic | Crown of the Cosmos |
| Sporecaller's Blooming Loop | Mythic | Rotmire |
| Sash Of The Putrid Giant | Mythic | Rotmire |
If you do not have access to Mythic Raids, the best way to spend Bonus Rolls is to prioritise items you can catalyst into Mythic Tier.
Voidforge (Ascendant Voidcores)
After unlocking the Voidforge, you’ll be able to collect Ascendant Voidcores to upgrade your weapons and trinkets, via Midnight Endgame Content.
The upgrade priority is as follows:
Myth Track Weapon > Crafted Weapon > Myth Track Trinkets > Hero Track Trinkets
Once your item is ‘Ascendant Voidforged’ you will no longer be able to upgrade it
