With the Turbo Boost event active in The War Within Season 2, crafted items are getting a new optional reagent upgrade to increase their item level by upto an additional 6 Item levels (a new maximum of 681).
The new item is the Augmentation Matrix, which can be purchased from a vendor at 2 different rarities: Runed Augmentation Matrix and Gilded Augmentation Matrix.
The rarity of the Augmentation Matrix will detremine the item level increase, the Runed Augmentation Matrix grants 3 item levels for a maximum item level of 678 and the Gilded Augmentation Matrix grants 6 item level for a max item level of 681.
In this guide we have broken down where the vendors you can purchase Augmentation Matrix from are located and how to get your gear either crafted or recrafted in order to take advantage of this higher item level gear.
Where to Purchase the Runed and Gilded Augmentation Matrix
The Runed and Gilded Augmentation Matrix are sold by two vendors, both located in Dornogal.
Syenite
The first Augementation Matrix Vendor is Syenite, the Enchanted Crest vendor. They are located near the NPCs where you place crafting orders.

The second Augmentation Matrix vendor is Llande, the Enchanting Supplies vendor in Dornogal. She is located in the Southern part of the city next to the enchanting proffesion stall.

How to Craft Using the Runed and Gilded Augmentation Matrix
You can purchase either the Runed or Gilded Augmentation Matrix for their respective Undermine Crests. The Runed Augmentation Matrix costs 15 Runed Undermine Crests and the Gilded Augementation Matrix costs 30 Gilded Undermine Crests.

You will then need to either recraft your gear or craft a new item using the Augmentation Matrix in order to gain the extra item levels from the matrix. On the crafting order you will have a new optional reagent section to place the Augmentation Matrix into. The Augmentation Matrix does not add any recipe difficulty, so it should not be any more difficult to craft than previously.
