When it comes to end-game crafting materials in Dune Awakening, Starvidium and Titanium Ore are two of the most prized. You'll find them in the Deep Desert, and while that makes them difficult to obtain, the payoff is more than worth it.
If you are reaching the end-game of Dune Awakening, then you will have noticed that the next crafting material you need after Duraluminum Ingots is Plastanium Ingots. Plastanium Ingots can be crafted in a Medium or Large Ore Refinery and require both Stravidium Fiber and Titanium Ore to produce.
This guide explains where to find these crafting materials, how to farm them fast, and what tools or upgrades help.
The image above shows how the two resources look. Titanium Ore is the most common of the two (seen on the right). On the left is Stravidium Mass, which is much harder to find but looks incredibly unique, so you won't miss it.

Before You Start – Quick Tips
- You will need to bring a Cutteray Mk5 or better
- Scout Ornithopter is best for solo farming in the Deep Desert
- Use Survey Probes to reveal Ore nodes in fogged zones
- Titanium Ore and Stravidium Mass both spawn on rocky outcrops
- Refine Stravidium Mass into Fiber using water in a chemical refinery
- Craft Plastanium Ingots with Titanium, Fiber and water in a Medium or Advanced Ore Refinery
- Go early in the weekly reset
What You Need to Craft Plastanium Ingots
To make Plastanium Ingots, you need:
- Titanium Ore
- Stravidium Fiber (which comes from Stravidium Mass)
- A Medium or Large Ore Refinery
- A lot of Water is required for the refining process (125ml per Ingot)
Where to Find Titanium Ore in Dune Awakening

Titanium Ore only spawns in the Deep Desert, mostly on rocky outcrops; you won’t find it near the early zones. You will see the node as you zoom in on the map, but you can also see it fairly easily while flying around. You can see an example of some nodes earlier in the article.
Best way to get Titanium Ore & Stravidium Mass:
- Fly a Scout Ornithopter into the Deep Desert
- Bring a Cutteray Mk V or VI
- Look for rocky areas, especially further north or around canyons
- Use Survey Probes to scan fogged areas and mark nodes
Where to Find Stravidium Mass
Stravidium is a bit trickier when compared to Titanium. You’re looking for Stravidium Mass, which you can turn into Stravidium Fiber using a chemical refinery. Like Titanium, it’s found on rock formations in the Deep Desert. So while the start of the process is similar, there are more steps with Stravidium.
Best way to get Stravidium Mass
- Use the same Cutteray tool, Mk5 or higher
- Watch for a shine or glow on the rocks when flying
Once you mine the Mass, take it back to base and refine it with water into Fiber. You’ll need this for the Plastanium recipe.
How to Craft Plastanium Ingots
Once you have enough ore, use a Medium or Large Ore Refinery to start combining the resources.
For a Medium Ore Refinery, you’ll need to combine:
- 6 Titanium Ore
- 1 Stravidium Fiber
- 125ml Water
- 30 seconds per Ingot
For the Large Ore Refinery, you’ll need to combine:
- 4 Titanium Ore
- 1 Stravidium Fiber
- 125ml Water
- 20 Seconds per ingot
Plastanium is used for crafting Mk6 tools, armour, and vehicle parts. You’ll need a lot if you’re trying to max out your gear.
Tips for Farming Stravidium and Titanium Ore
An example of a very simple base that is perfect for storing resources so you can farm for hours in the Deep Desert.
Here are some tips to help you maximise Farming Stravidium and Titanium Ore:
- Cutteray Mk V, Mk VI or Tarl Cutteray - The better our tool, the better our yield, the quicker we can get out of danger.
- Scout Ornithopter - Speed is the goal, get in and out. Sure, you’re weaker than the larger Thopters, but you can get in and out fast. Get higher MK engines and wings as soon as you can for the biggest advantage.
- Make use of Survey Probes - this is especially useful earlier in the week after the reset.
- Bring fuel, we don’t want to get caught out in the Deep Desert running on fumes.
- Spec into Planetologist - When you go deep into the Planetologist Tree, you unlock some incredible passive abilities, from fuel usage to harvest yields.
- Use the Vulture Mode on the Ornithopter to save fuel and travel at faster speeds.
- Similar to the above, fly high to avoid conflict - note that flying above a certain point costs more fuel.
- Have a base near the border of the Hagga Basin map, so that you have easy access to the World Map.
