To 'Kill Scavengers' is one of the easier Lansdraad Tasks that involves eliminating large numbers of Scavenger enemies in order to earn Personal Contribution points.
Scavengers are mostly located in the earliest & easiest areas of the game so dispatching of them is easy and quick, however you will still need to kill a lot in order to get the best rewards.
Each kill of a Scavenger will award 23 points which means that you will need 457 kills for the Tier 4 Reward and 609 kills for the Armor Swatch.

Where To Find Scavengers in Dune Awakening
Scavengers are some of the very first enemies you will come across in Dune Awakening. They are mostly found within the Strongholds, Camps and Testing Stations of Hagga Basin South and give 10xp per kill.
Although they do exist outside of Hagga Basin South, Scavengers are found most easily in the locations shown below. The number inside each location indicates the approximate number of Scavengers there.
Given they are the weakest enemies in the game, you don't need any high-tier gear to be able to farm Scavengers easily.
Best Route For Killing Scavengers
The fastest way to complete the Kill Scavengers Landsraad Task is simply to run the entire Hagga Basin South route, stopping at every Scavenger Stronghold, Testing Station or Camp along the way.
Assuming you come in from the World Map, follow this suggested route:
- Start from the south and clear out the bottom four strongholds;
- Then proceed east to Hollow Arches and clear that out;
- Head to the centre and clear out Breaker Station & Testing Station #2; and
- Finally head west to finish off Sim's Jackpot and Dewgap Gateway.
As you can deduce from the image, a full run of this route will result in around ~80 Scavengers, which will award ~1,840 Personal Contribution points.
That means you would need to run this route around 6 times in order to reach the 10,500 Tier or 8 times to reach the 14,000 tier.
Tips To Save Time
As with all 'Killing' Landsraad Tasks, you'll want to follow these tips to save yourself time and maximise your efficiency:
- Use a Scout Ornithopter with the highest level Wings, Engine and Thruster (Boost Module) that you can craft;
- Craft the highest level melee weapon that you can as this is the fastest way to kill Slavers;
- Ensure your items are fully repaired (especially your Shield, Power Pack and Suspensor Belt);
- Ensure you have a Literjon stocked up with plenty of water before you go; and
- Just 'loot all' and then sort out the loot when you get back to your base.
