The Bustling Hill quest is the first quest that introduces us to the Camp mission system. However, like a lot of things in Crimson Desert, it isn't explained well how to do it. So, we'll help you out in this guide.
Shortly after you unlock the Camp in Chapter 3, you will start to increase the number of people hanging around. After the first mission to discover the rumours, you will meet your first two Comrades, Luke and Ronald. Once you head back to camp, you can start to send them on missions, the first of which is Bustling Hill, which tasks you with making the camp larger.
How to Start the 'Howling Hill Camp Expansion' mission

Now, this should be fairly simple, but the game doesn't do an amazing job of actually telling you how to do it. For the Howling Hill camp expansion, you need to interact with the Greymane camp mission selection screen.
- Access the Howling Hill mission menu via the map
- From the map head to Greymane Camp and select "Inspect" (Y/Triangle/double-click) - Note: The command is a bit clunky, and you will need to be in the exact location
- You can see from the image above how it should look
Once in the menu, you can start to navigate to the mission section on the top left of the screen. Here, select the number of Comrades required and then send them on the mission.

Pro tip: Comrades will have buffs for certain types of missions. Luke, for example, is good at construction missions, so we want to send him on this one.
For the Howling Hill Camp Expansion, you will need to wait 17 in-game hours to complete it. Time passes faster in the game, so this is a good time to go and do other things like finding some Abyss Artifact locations in the nearby area. You can also just sleep in the bed at the camp, though if you have recently done that, you won't be able to.
While this mission takes a long time, others will take a variety of times to complete, though do keep in mind that most of them are not as "impactful" as this first mission.
Once the mission is done, Kliff will get a message saying they are finished, and the comrades are back.
