Ritual Sites Overview Guide

Ritual Sites is a new system introduced in Patch 12.0.5, which works very similar to Horrific Visions and Delves. It’s instanced content which can be done solo or in groups of up to 5 players.

The Ritual sites introduce a new renown, called Ritual Sites, which you gain by completing Ritual Sites. There are a lot of pets and mounts tied to the renown, or available as rewards from the Ritual sites, all of which we have listed below. There is also catch up gear to get and completed Ritual Sites will contribute to your World Events row of the Great Vault, rewarding up to Hero Track gear in the Great Vault.

How to Unlock Ritual Sites

To unlock Ritual Sites, you need to first do a few quests from the Void Assaults hub above the Silvermoon Alchemy and Enchants Enhanced shop in the Bazaar area of Silvermoon. The first quest is called Void Strike, which you pick up from Ranger Captain Lilathra, and will require you to complete a Void Strike wherever they are active. Once you finish a Void Strike, you return to hand in the quest. Now you get two small quests, from Lilathra and from Kul’amara the Fierce, to just talk to people in the hub. Once you complete those, Lady Darkglen will give you the follow up quest Ritual Problems, which requires you to complete a Ritual Site.

Ritual Site Locations

There are two different locations where Ritual Sites take place, one in Eversong Woods and the other in Zul’Aman. Only one is active at a time, and which one it is will rotate with the weekly reset. To enter the Ritual Site you must go to the location of the active Ritual Site, marked on the map with a purple icon, and interact with an Obelisk.

The Eversong Woods Ritual site has Naga enemies and the obelisk to enter can be found on the west coast near Goldenmist Village.

The Zul’Aman Ritual Site has Twilight Blade enemies and the obelisk to enter can be found in the south of the zone in the Broken Throne area.

How to Start and Complete a Ritual Site

To start a Ritual you first go to the Obelisk in either Eversong Woods or Zul’Aman and interact with it. You will have the option to select a tier of 1 through 5, though in order to unlock tiers higher than 2 you must have already completed the previous tiers.

Below that is a row of options for Challenges. These Challenges are additional difficulty modifiers which increase the amount of Spoils you can receive from the Ritual Site. The amount of spoils you get at the end of the Ritual determines how much renown and Field Accolades you receive.

Tiers 3 and higher will require a certain amount of challenges in order to activate them, but which ones you choose to activate is wholly up to you. To begin with not all challenges will be available to choose from, and you will be unlocking more options for challenges as you progress through Ritual Sites. We have put together a list of how to unlock all of the Challenges.

Once you enter the Ritual Site you will have objectives to defeat some enemies which are marked on your map. Doing this will progress you to stage 2, which is to defeat a mini-boss. Once that is complete you can move on to the boss for the ritual site.

After you have defeated the boss you will get a chest with Field Accolades and some rewards.

Ritual Site Rewards

Ritual Sites have a large variety of rewards that you can earn, by either progressing the renown track or by completing tasks within a Ritual Site; to earn Field Accolades or to unlock hidden mounts and pets. We have broken down all the rewards into categories so you can easily find the rewards you want to prioritize.

Transmog

You can earn a void recolour of Tier 2 by purchasing caches, which reward a random piece from any of the sets. You can purchase a Void-Touched Cache from the Ritual Site Vendors; there is one cache for each gear slot, which when opened unlocks a random Tier 2 Transmog for that particular slot.

Mounts

There are quite a few mounts that can be earnt from Ritual Sites.

• Void-Touched Hawkstrider - A void hawkstrider that requires renown 8 with the ritual sites.
• Witherbark Warbear Mother - A hidden mount found by reuniting a lost cub with its mother.
• Void-Corrupted Lynx - A mount crafted by Leatherworkers.
• Void-Corrupted Hex Eagle - A hidden mount found by completing a Void Ritual.
• Void-Touched Snapdragon - A hidden mount found by rummaging through kelp.

Pets

There are several pets that can be both purchased or found in ritual sites.

• Chubs - A lost and hungry bear cub.
• Void-Touched Chick - Found by clicking on a floating egg.
• Overloaded Manaling - A drop from a rare elite, Mana-Gorged Greatwyrm.
• Rescued Dragonhawk Chick - Can be purchased for Field Accolades at Renown 6.
• Void-Corrupted Snapdragon - Can be found rummaging through Kelp to find a Toy.
• Void-Infused Mindbreaker Fry - Can be purchased for Field Accolades at Renown 6.
• Void-Scarred Eaglet - Currently Unknown.
• Void-Touched Lynx Kitten - Found in a Rustling Underbush (Unknown how to obtain).
