Deep Desert Testing Station Guide - The Yellow Bunker

Deep Desert Testing Station Guide - The Yellow Bunker

Written by MJM - 18th July 2025

The 'Yellow Bunker' Testing Station is a fairly simple Testing Station which can be found in either the PVE or PVP zone in the Deep Desert. It contains one lock-in and a yellow-locked shield door leading to two small/medium chests at the end.

Warning: This Testing Station is designed for small groups, but can be done solo. However you will be locked in to multiple rooms where you will encounter many waves of enemies. We recommend a Mk6 Weapon, Power Pack & Shield.

  • Length: ~25
  • Challenge: 1 Lock-ins, ~6 Waves
  • Solo Difficulty: Medium

The Yellow Bunker Testing Station - Map & Route

The Yellow Bunker Testing Station has a linear layout with one extra optional room which can be entered below the main room through a yellow shield door.

Reaching the Lock-in

Enter and head down the stairs as normal. You'll arrive in a circular room with two melee enemies, feel free to kill them to get warmed up or just leave them and head down the corridor on your left.

You'll reach a green shield door - this is the entrance to the first and only combat section of this Testing Station.

Combat Section - Lock-in

Once you head through the green shield door, it will turn red and you won't be able to leave until you clear 6 progressively challenging waves of enemies. The last couple of waves contain around 10-12 enemies.

The room is very generous in that it provides numerous 'safe' areas you can use to kite the enemies around with. The two best areas are up the stairs at the back (beside the locked door) and to the left side where there is another corridor.

Deal with the melee enemies first by hiding in one of these safe zones then parrying + slow blade. Deal with the unshielded ranged enemies second and then deal with the heavies last.

Don't get pinned down and take your time.

Reward Room & ID Band

Once you've cleared the waves, the shield door at the top of the stairs at the back of the room will turn green and let you grab the Purple ID Band.

Head out through the Purple Shield Door in the combat room and it will lead you right to the Reward Chest.
