The 'Museum' Testing Station is one of the Testing Stations you'll encounter deep in the Deep Desert. It's one of the most interesting Testing Stations (in our opinion), featuring quicksand and a quirky archaeological aesthetic.
Warning: This Testing Station is designed for small groups, but can be done solo. However you will be locked in to a room where you will encounter many waves of enemies. We recommend at least Mk5 items, ideally some strong uniques.
- Length: ~30 minutes
- Challenge: Lock-in & Waves
- Solo Difficulty: Hard
The Museum Testing Station - Map & Route
Reaching the Lock-in
It's a pretty straightforward Testing Station, so we won't waste your time here. Just follow the tunnel, avoiding the quicksand in the centre of the first room. When you reach the T junction you can either go left or right, doesn't really matter.
Proceed up to the top of the stairs on either side and you'll find the green shield door.
Combat Section - Locked Room and Waves
Once you pass through the green shield door, it will turn red and you will be locked in this chamber until you have defeated several waves of enemies. This room is on the tougher side I would say, so take care and keep moving.
Be sure to make use of the two entranceways on either side which split off from the circular structure of the room. They can allow you break free from being pinned down.
As always, snipe away at the unshielded trooper enemies and try to pick off solo melee enemies as they chase you. Whittle them down and take your time.
Purple ID Band & Reward Room
Once you have defeated the enemies - congrats - grab the Purple ID Band in the middle of the combat room and then retrace your steps to the purple locked door. You can't miss it.
Grab the Reward Chest and head off into the sunset with your riches.
