The 'Living Quarters' Testing Station is a 'challenge mode' Testing Station which can only be found in the PVP section of the Deep Desert. This is longer and harder than other Testing Stations but does deliver great rewards.
Warning: This Testing Station is designed for small groups, but can be done solo. However you will be locked in to multiple rooms where you will encounter many waves of enemies. We recommend a Mk6 Weapon, or a unique equivalent.
- Length: ~40 minutes
- Challenge: 3 Lock-ins, 9 Waves
- Solo Difficulty: Hard
The Living Quarters Testing Station - Map & Route
First Lock-in
The entrance to this Testing Station is pretty much the same as all others, head down the stairs and then hang a right when you come to the purple locked door on your left and yellow locked door straight ahead.
You'll need to kill a couple of enemies in this room (nice little warm up for what is to come!) and then you can Cutteray through the doors. This corridor leads directly into the first 'lock-in' room.
Once you enter through the green shield door you will be locked in until you clear three waves of enemies! This is the first and easiest lock-in so it shouldn't be too bad.
Second Lock-in
First challenge complete. There's an optional cutteray-locked door on your right as you pass through the exit to the first lock-in room. Proceed through the corridor until you reach the next green shield door.
As you will know by now, once you enter you will be locked in and face another three waves. This is a bit tougher than the last lock-in so be careful.
Pro Tip: Use the two large pillars on the ground floor of this room to break line of sight of the ranged enemies above. You can easily deal with the melee enemies down here.
Third Lock-in
You are almost there now! After you exit the second lock-in, grab the yellow ID band (you'll need to cutteray through the door in the hallway, see the map) if you want to grab the small & medium chests there later.
Continue on into the final room. This room is pretty tough with much more enemies than before. Again there are three waves and from memory the last wave contains around 10-12 enemies!
Keep moving and take your time.
Rewards
Congratulations! This is one of the tougher dungeons but now you get to enjoy the rewards. A door will unlock in the room you are in which leads to what looks like a smaller Reward Chest. Fear not though for it is packed with rewards.
The loot table for this Testing Station rotates each week. Check out our Deep Desert Companion for the loot table this week!
