The 'Control Room' Testing Station is one of the Testing Stations you'll encounter deep in the Deep Desert. It's a fairly short but challenging Testing Station that yields great rewards.
Warning: This Testing Station is designed for small groups, but can be done solo. However you will be locked in to a room where you will encounter many waves of enemies. We recommend at least Mk5 items, ideally some strong uniques.
Control Room Testing Station - Map & Route
Reaching The Centre
Head down the stairs until you reach the first circular room. There's a small room on your left with some basic items, when you're ready, head on right through the tunnel and follow it through until you see a room with a smashed window.
Jump through the window and follow the tunnel until you see the green shield door. You can either continue up and along the tunnel to gather some more small chests & ammo etc, or you can head straight through the shield door.
Once you head through the green shield door, you will be locked in and face many waves of enemies.
Combat Section - Locked Room and Waves
Once you walk into the large circular control room, you will find yourself locked in. Time for some action! Defeat the waves one by one until eventually the doors will open for you.
The easiest way to complete this is to stay on the move and pick off targets one-by-one. Snipe off the un-shielded troopers first as their gunfire and grenades can stifle your movement. Parry and kill any lone melee enemies.
Use Shigawire or whichever movement ability you have to stay nimble and keep moving, don't get pinned down.
Purple ID Band & Reward Chest
Phew, you've cleared all the waves and the shield doors have returned to green. Walk through the newly unlocked shield door and collect the Purple ID Band on your left.
Head on through to the final chamber and collect your rewards.
