Phase Diving is a new mechanic introduced with Patch 11.2 Ghosts of K’aresh. It is part of the Reshii Wraps, allowing players to transform into beings of pure energy and enter untethered space.
How to Unlock Phase Diving
Shortly after receiving the Reshii Wraps artifact cloak players will be directed towards Shad’anis and Hashim in the quest Another World. Once here you will have a small introduction to the Phase Diving mechanic and and it culminates in you upgrading your Reshii Wraps for the first time.
How to Phase Dive
Now that you have the basics of phase diving, you can enter Untethered Space whenever you want with Phase Diving Conduits. You will have to initially find conduits in the normal phase of K’aresh. Once you have found a normal version, it will then unlock like a flight path allowing you to easily teleport across the map.
The image below shows the location of all Phase Diving Conduits you can unlock.
Initially, you will not be able to mount while phase diving, however, once your Reshii Wraps have reached level 3 you will be able to use a ground mount while in the Untethered Space. There is currently no way to use a flying mount while phase diving.
Phase Diving Rewards
Each week you will receive the quest More Than Just a Phase from either Shad’anis on Overlook Zo’Shuul or Constable Zo’ardaz in Tazaveh. This weekly quest just requires you to complete activities while phase diving such as looting treasures, killing rares, or completing world quests. This quest rewards 300 K’aresh Trust Reputation and 7 Untethered Coins.
Untethered Coins can be traded for a variety of rewards including Mounts, Pets, and Transmog. To purchase items you need to visit Shad’anis located at Overlook Zo’Shuul, who sells the following items:
