Gear Item Level from Raid Bosses and Mythic+ Dungeons in WoW Midnight Season 2

WoW Midnight Season 2 brings with it a new Raid, The Venomous Abyss, a fresh set of Mythic+ Dungeons, new Delves and a lot of new gear and player power to work towards. The Midnight Season 2 content rewards a new type of crests and lots of new Item levels to obtain for your characters.

This guide includes a full breakdown of the Item level of the rewards available from completing Raid Bosses, Mythic+ Dungeons, Delves and Prey Hunts at their various difficulties and M+ keystone levels.

End of Mythic+ Dungeon Drop Rewards in WoW Midnight Season 2

Completing Mythic+ Dungeons in WoW Midnight Season 2 rewards crests, gear items, and progress towards your weekly vault.

Some key levels will reward the same item level at the end of the dungeon, and most share the same reward track, they just start further along and require less upgrades to reach the maximum item level for that item.

The table below will show you the item levels of the rewards you could get from the final chest at the end of completing a Mythic+ Keystone.

Raiding Boss & Lair Boss Loot Drop Rewards in Midnight Season 2

Defeating Lair and Raid Bosses in WoW Midnight Season 2 rewards you with crests, gear items, and progress towards your weekly vault.

WoW Midnight Season 2 continues the pattern of having later and harder bosses dropping gear that is already further along the upgrade track, saving you crests by already being partly or fully upgraded.

All items will drop at the same upgrade track for each difficulty, Normal drops Champion, Heroic drops Hero and Mythic drops Myth Track. One small change in Midnight Season 2 is that the final two bosses on Mythic difficulty will drop items that have item levels beyond the standard Myth Track.

The table below shows the loot drops and rewards tracks for the Mythic difficulty raid bosses.

Note: We have also included the Lair Boss, Nymrissa Wavecaller, from The Tidebound Grotto Lair. The loot that drops from this content is the equivalent of a regular raid boss, and follows the same loot item level rules as The Venomous Abyss Raid Bosses.

World Content: Delves and Prey Loot Rewards in Midnight Season 2

For the World Content activities, we have only included the Delves and Prey, as they are the content types most likely to continue giving you more meaningful item level rewards later into the Season.

End of Delve Rewards in Midnight Season 2

Gear rewards are capped at Adventurer 1/3, unless you use a Bountiful Coffer Key in a Bountiful Delve. There are a total of 4 Bountiful Delves active per day, and you can only collect 6 Restored coffer keys per week.

Note: You can get Hero Track gear from Delves, but it requires a Delvers Bounty. Using a Delver bounty while in a Tier 8 or higher delve, before defeating the final boss, will spawn an additional chest at the end of the delve that contains a random 1/6 Hero Track Delve item.

The table below shows you all of the Item Tracks you can gain from using a Restored Coffer Key to loot a Bountiful chest at the end of a Bountiful Delve, along with their respective item level.

Prey Rewards in Midnight Season 2

Prey can’t reward Hero track gear from the actual completion of a Prey Hunt itself, however it is a nice source of Champion Track gear early in WoW Midnight Season 2 and can reward Hero Track in the Great Vault.
