Throughout the new K’aresh zone there are a total of 19 Rares that you can defeat for rewards. The Rares on K’aresh can be a great way to farm reputation and Valorstones.
If you are a fan of collecting achievements, you can earn the Remnants of a Shattered World Achievement if you defeat all of the rares found around K’aresh. This guide will outline the spawn locations of all 19 rares.
K’aresh Rare Locations
There are two types of rares on K’aresh, you have normal rares similar to those found around Khaz Algar and Phase diving rares, which can only be found while phase diving in K’aresh.
Normal K’aresh Rares
There are 5 normal K'aresh rares:
Chowdar
Chowdar is a blood beast doing a small patrol on the southeast of K’aresh, just below Tazavesh. Chowdar can drop the Chowdar’s Favourite Ribbon Toy.

Arcana-Monger So'zer
Arcana-Monger So’zer is a large broker that can only be spawned from its respective warrant weekly quest. Only one warrant quest is available per week.

Grubber
Grubber is a large devourer worm that can only be spawned from its respective warrant weekly quest. Only one warrant quest is available per week.

Heka’tmos
Heka’tmos is an elemental that can be summoned in the centre of the Oasis, to summon this rare you need to interact with a Dewminder, Spectral Lantern, Earthy Succulent and a Windcatcher objects around the Oasis to get 4 buffs. Once you have all four buffs you can click on the Brazier of Elemental Union to summon Heka’tmost. Heka’tmost can drop the Heka'Tarnos, Bringer of Discord pet.

Malek'ta
Malek’ta is a large worm located near the centre of K’aresh. While moving in the area you will receive the buff Noticing You, once you have the buff if you jump around, the rare Malek’ta will spawn.

Ixthar the Unblinking
Ixthar the Unblinking is a large observer, it is a rare elite so deals a substantial amount of damage. He drops Carved Crests and a chance at a Veteran track trinket.

Korgorath the Ravager
Korgorath the Ravager patrols the Tempest Fields, it has no unique drops but has a chance to drop warbound gear.

Maw of the Sands
Maw of the Sands is a large devourer worm, it is a rare elite so deals a substantial amount of damage. It drops Carved Crests and a chance at warbound gear.

Morgil the Netherspawn
Morgil the Netherspawn is a large bug rare that patrols around the Serrated Peaks. It has a chance to drop the Jimmy battle pet.

Orith the Dreadful
Orith the Dreadful is a large flying mob, she circles around pretty high up but does land at the coordinates below. This is a rare elite so will do significant damage.

Prototype Mk-V
Prototype Mk-V is a mechanical suit, it's located near the phase diving conduit, near the icy river in the northeast of K'aresh.

Revenant of the Wasteland
The Revenant of the Wasteland is an ascended broker, it spawns towards the south west of K’aresh.

Sha'ryth the Cursed
Sha'ryth the Cursed is a Feathermane that can be found in the south east of K’aresh, it flies high in the air but lands near the area in the coordinates below. Interestingly it can be tamed by hunters.

Shadowhowl
Shadowhowl is a large demonic dog it can be in west of K’aresh it patrols near the entrance to the Archival Assault delve.

Stalker of the Wastes
Stalker of the Wastes is a warp stalker that patrols a small area just a little south of the Oasis.

Sthaarbs
Sthaarbs is a large Observer located in the center of The Oasis. You will need to use the portal that spawns near the friendly NPCs, the portal will take you up to a platform near the boss. Whenever the boss casts Repulsive Gaze, swap platforms to avoid being knocked off the platform.

The Nightreaver
The Nightreaver is a spore bat that patrols in a large area around K’aresh, we have put coordinates where they are closest to the ground, making them easier to pull.

Urmag is a Carpid that can be found near the centre of K’aresh, it has a small chance to drop the Pearlescent Krolusk mount.

Xarran the Binder is an Ethereal that can be located near the centre of K’aresh, near the Lunnal River.

There are a large variety of rares coming to patch 11.2 with a large number of rewards including mounts and pets.
