Talents
In Early Access Season 3 testing, Aeona has opened up to a much wider range of builds. This comes from changes to talent positions, power levels, and talent designs, as well as the complete gearing overhaul, which allows for much greater build diversity. Most notably, Entropy's Claim builds now have better supporting talent synergies, making them a much more viable direction to build around.
Below, I’ve outlined what I believe to be the best general set-up you can have at every stage of your hero progression.
General Build
This build is designed around Bands Of The Withering Shores and the way it changes Entropy's Claim.
With 2 charges and a longer duration, you can pool your Entropy's Claim and use them back-to-back when the group needs a extra healing. Talents like Continuum Shift and Entropic Burst make those windows much stronger by adding more healing, spreading that healing to the group, and making Entropy's Claim especially effective during trash pulls.
Karmic Dispersion vs. Vestige of Eternity
- Without Karmic Dispersion, Entropy's Claim does stronger single-target healing. This is usually better when you want more of that healing to go into the tank or another injured priority target.
- With Karmic Dispersion, Entropy's Claim heals the whole party instead, but the healing is reduced to 50%. This is better in dungeons with a lot of group-wide damage, such as Cithrel’s Fall or Wraithtide Vault.
Oblivion’s Embrace
- You can also drop Vestige Of Eternity and Synchronicity to pick up Oblivion's Embrace. This gives you extra shielding from Oblivion, which can help you survive dangerous mechanics and gives you more effective health to play with.

Baseline Talents
Summary: Almost always take Uchronia, Erasure, Hastening Doom, Oblivion's Embrace, Surging Chrona and Echoes Of Divinity.
Aeona’s gameplay largely centers around her Chrona builders and spenders. Since Oblivion is your main spender and the center of your gameplay loop, we want to pick all talents that enhance it, like Erasure and Oblivion's Embrace.
To get as many Oblivion (and also Amend Fate / Restore Continuity) out as possible, you need a good resource economy. That’s why you take Uchronia and Surging Chrona to generate Chrona steadily and when it matters.
Hastening Doom is close to mandatory. While Unfolding Doom is active it gives you 20% Haste, which is a huge throughput gain and allows you to get over the 50%+ Haste breakpoint mentioned in the Stat section.
Echoes Of Divinity is strong, because it makes your Stagger clears cleanse even more Stagger.
After taking all these core talents, you’re left with 3 flex points.
Investing Our Flex Points
Summary: Take Entropic Burst and Chrona Tap by default.
Alternatively you can pick up Synchronicity for more Chrona generation and Vestige Of Eternity for more throughput from your Deferred Fate: Relay and Deferred Fate: Mass Relay.
Chrona Tap is a key part of Aeona’s mana management, giving you back 1.5% mana every time you spend Chrona.
Entropic Burst is extremely strong in trash pulls, adding a lot of extra healing, especially on the tank.
Paradoxical Twist boosts the healing and damage of Temporal Barrage and improves Chrona generation during Fleeting Hour, as each extra bolt generates 1 extra Chrona, resulting in 10 extra Chrona per cast. Its also great to cleanse Stagger on the tank.
Synchronicity is a flex DPS and resource talent. Above 50% Chrona, your non-spenders deal 15% more damage. Below 50% Chrona, you generate 25% more Chrona.
Temporal Shift increases the uptime of your Fleeting Hour by about 10% and pairs well with Paradoxical Twist.
Vestige Of Eternity is strong, because it buffs the healing from your offensive spells, especially Oblivion, Entropy's Claim, Unfolding Doom, and Echoes Of Ruin.
Resonant Fate is another good pickup when you want stronger spot healing or extra tank support.
Damage Talents
If you want to do more damage, Continuum Shift, Edge Of Ruin and Entropic Burst are the three talents that you can also consider.
- Entropic Burst and Edge Of Ruin are great options for AOE damage, as they don't interrupt your rotational flow and do great damage
- Continuum Shift does great AOE damage with Echoes Of Ruin and can be useful for Chrona generation on bosses too, but it does disrupt your rotational flow when used with Time Shard and costs one more talent point.
Niche Talents
Kind Rewind is usually not worth it because your gameplay loop barely gives you room to cast Time Shard and you generally want to cast it as little as possible. Consider it only if your playstyle or a specific setup has you casting Time Shard regularly.
If you want to improve your spothealing, Quickening is a solid option, but typically unnecessary. Your spot healing is already strong, and your talent point tends to have higher value elsewhere.
Karmic Dispersion is a weak talent on its own, but can have a great syngergies with the 25% increased damage on Entropy's Claim from Continuum Shift and the Bands Of The Withering Shores Legendary.
