Introduction
Hey everyone, and welcome to the Godfall Quarry guide for Fellowship’s Early Access release! In this guide I’ll be going over the abilities used by the trash mobs found inside, strategy tips and tricks for the boss encounter, as well as a recommended route that is both simple to execute and PUG friendly.
Some background on myself, my name is Tactyks and I am an avid M+ player in WoW, where I’ve achieved the 0.1% M+ title in every season it has existed. I also create Dungeon, Raid, and Tank guide content over on my YouTube and Twitch channels, so if that’s something you’re interested in make sure to stop by and say hi!
Dungeon Trash

Dredge
- VAYR’S LEGACY: These mobs will use Throw Stone on their target shortly after being pulled, make sure the tank is the one engaging them.

Skittershard
- VAYR’S LEGACY: On death these mobs debuff all players with the stacking Crystalline Corruption DoT and healing reduction, these are removed when a heal is received so healers be ready to deal with these or use a Mass Dispel relic if you have one.

Task Master
- Sweeping Hook targets the tank, make sure to avoid the circle around them or use a CC to stop the cast entirely, and beware of the bleed it applies if hit.

Enforcer
- This mob is immune to CC.
- Tanks beware of Piercing Strike, which reduces your armor by 20% for 6s.
- VAYR’S LEGACY: Reflective Shield channels towards a random player, make sure you move out of this effect to prevent your attacks from being reflected after the channel completes.

Nezari Bolter
- Bolt Barrage channels damage into random players, use an interrupt or CC to stop it.

Quarry Stalker
- VAYR’S LEGACY: Occasionally these mobs will teleport to a random player and use Poisonous Strike, be ready with a CC or interrupt to stop the cast or use a dispel on the Agonizing Poison DoT it applies.

Godfall Wardstone
- Wardstones are Brittle and become Vulnerable if interrupted or CC’d, so make sure to focus them down when this happens.
- Searing Beam channels into a random player, be ready to interrupt or use a CC on it.
Eventually your path will split into 2 choices, though regardless of which way you opt to go you’ll encounter the same set of mobs, just in different combinations. In general I recommend heading down the right path.

Arcane Warden
- Psionic Horror does an AoE fear around a random player, use an interrupt or CC on the cast or dispel the feared player if it’s successful.
- Torment targets the tank, use spare interrupts on this.

Enraged Earth Elemental
- This mob is immune to CC.
- Shatter deals a hit of damage to the group and applies a stacking damage amp to all players, be ready to use defensives as your stacks get higher and use Mass Dispel relics if you have them to clear stacks from the whole group.

Godfall Titan and Vaerith Vorn Boss Fight
Godfall Titan Abilities

The Godfall Titan will prepare to slam the ground in two locations. If both locations are not soaked, the Godfall Titan will deal huge party-wide damage.

The Godfall Titan summons two Godfall Wardstones to aid them in combat.
Vaerith Vorn Abilities

After a Volatile Energy debuff expires, a Mana Bomb will appear and explode after a short delay, dealing more damage to players the closer they are to the bomb.

Vaerith Vorn will fire beams of energy across and along the platform, dealing high damage to players caught in the blast.

Vaerith Vorn will randomly target players with Magic Missiles that deal moderate damage on impact.
Boss Strategy
Upon engaging the boss, Vaerith Vorn will fly away and assault the group from the air while you deal with the Titan itself, randomly hitting players with Magic Missiles. This isn’t too dangerous on its own, but can be quite scary when combined with some of the other damage you’re taking on this fight, namely from the Titanic Slam ability. When this happens 2 circles will appear in front of the Titan, and you’ll need at least 1 player in each to soak the damage otherwise it explodes for massive group damage. Because this soak damage is split, I recommend having your tank solo soak one of the circles while the rest of your group soaks the other one.
Aside from these soaks, the other main form of group damage comes from Mana Bomb, which is dropped after the Volatile Energy magic debuff expires or is removed. This bomb then explodes after a short delay, dealing damage to your entire group reduced by distance, so when this debuff goes out the targeted player needs to run away, get dispelled, then run back towards the boss to minimize the overall group damage.
For some avoidable damage, watch out for the Arcane Surge combo, which shoots 3 large beams across the platform in a random pattern, with each covering either the left, right, or front of the arena.
Once the Vayr’s Legacy affix is active you’ll have another mechanic to deal with, where the boss will now intermittently summon 2 Godfall Wardstones on the far side of the room. These are the same as the previously encountered trash mobs, so you’ll want to quickly swap to them, have your DPS players interrupt or CC their Searing Beam cast, then destroy them while they are Vulnerable. Tanks note that since the boss is stationary you need to stay in melee range, however during the Arcane Surge combo no melee swings happen, so you can quickly run out and help with the wardstones as long as you get back to the boss once the combo finishes.
These wardstones can make it awkward to deal with the Mana Bomb as the abilities usually overlap, so when this happens I recommend having the targeted player use a defensive as they’ll need to hold the debuff for a few seconds, then dispel it after you’ve defeated the wardstones so it can explode safely away from the boss.
