Updated for Early Access Season 3!
Welcome to Method’s Fellowship Early Access Season 3 Hero Tier List. We rank all Heroes based on a variety of factors including their damage output, defensiveness and utility.
The Tier List has been compiled by Nate, a former rank 1 player, and World First World of Warcraft Raider.
For more information on the best performing Heroes, you can find our Hero Guides for them all which goes further in-depth about their strengths, weaknesses and gameplay.
Tier List Explainer & Disclaimer
The Tier List has been compiled with high-end gameplay in mind, with the Heroes at a higher Tier being those Heroes most utilised by the top teams. It should not necessarily be used to decide what Hero you’re going to play or who you’re going to play with. Everything is subject to change and it’s likely there will continue to be significant tuning and balance changes.
How each tier is defined:
- S-Tier: These are the Heroes that absolutely dominate the meta, or are expected to.
- A-Tier: These Heroes are generally solid and always a good choice, but they lack the complete versatility that allow those in S-Tier to excel.
- B-Tier: These heroes are still good but they have less strengths than those in the tier above. The heroes in B are still very solid, but they each have certain weaknesses which prevent them from really shining.

Tier List Discussion
S-Tier
Helena
Helena as a concept, is a staple in the world of tanks. Her playstyle revolves around simply mitigating damage before it comes in rather than having much self-sustain. Helena provides massive amounts of damage reduction to her team, while dealing extremely high damage. She also has access to arguably the single best utility ability in the game - Grand Melee. She's received multiple quality of life changes in Early Access Season 3 that lessen her weaknesses and amplify her strengths.
Sylvie
Sylvie's playstyle revolves around healing over time. She’s a solid hero that can provide plenty of healing and useful cooldowns, and with the introduction of her aura buff increasing max hp, it supplements one of her main weaknesses compared to Vigour and Aeona. Now although Vigour can kinda do what Sylvie does in regards to EHP, Sylvies damage is ridiculously high right now with no real downsides. I previously placed Sylvie in A but I've felt this needed amending simply due to DPS reasons.
Elarion
Bow guy is a staple fantasy in a majority of games. Elarion, particularly later on, has excellent damage. With your damage profile largely being priority damage that cleaves, it makes him perfect for what you want in Fellowship. His mobility is solid, being able to permanently be on the move and roll, and his utility in the form of a mass grip is really nice for stubborn trash mobs or helping your tank kite.
Gunde
Gunde is the latest addition to the Fellowship dps arsenal and he's looking pretty crazy. With extremely high AoE damage and priority target damage, he's a cut above the rest for pure output. He has some amazing utility in the form of a single target grip, allowing you to have a lot more control over stubborn mobs or even just acting as an extra stop. The only downside is you have to play in melee, but he has pretty big range.
A-Tier
Vigour
Vigour is a powerhouse in regards to the amount he can increase his teams effective health through damage reductions. This season it's looking extremely likely that EHP is going to be a largely limiting factor for the cutting edge of content, as as a result, Vigour is very, very strong. His damage is on the lower end compared to his other Healer counter-parts, particularly on Single Target. His throughput outside of EHP increases is also extremely powerful.
Ardeos
Ardeos in Season 3 has had some massive quality of life improvements that overall improve his output and damage profile. He has some extremely high burst potential whilst also easily contributing massive amounts of single target and priority target damage. He also has an extremely low cooldown single target stop, and solid mobility, cementing him high on this list.
Rime
Rime has the capacity to deal very large amounts of burst damage on both single target and AoE. Rime also doesn't lose too much to pick between the two damage profiles, making her valuable to any composition. Pair that with solid group utility with off-healing and AoE knockback, whilst being extremely simple to play, and it's no wonder Rime remains a great choice in Early Access Season 3.
Mara
Mara does some of the best damage in the game in Early Access Season 3. Mara's AoE burst is very good, but more importantly her single target is amazing. This makes Mara's overall damage profile extremely valuable. This Hero can output some absurd numbers, complimenting her complexity and skill expression well.
Xavian
Xavian is the latest Tank additional to Fellowship. His natural damage avoidance and parry for simply doing your rotation and standing in his halo is extremely strong, and scales linearly with pull count too. This makes him insanely strong on trash pulls, but his real weakness comes in on bosses. He struggles with some of the harder bosses in the game, even more so when having to use shields for your party members instead of himself. He recently got some very large buffs making him a lot more appealing in higher end content.
B-Tier
Meiko
Meiko is a powerhouse when it comes to damage in Early Access Season 3. With a tonne of revamps to talents, increased Stone Shield durability and even her own Stamina scaling, she's much beefier in EAS3 compared to previously. She won't have problems doing the highest levels of content, and the extra AoE stops are going to be as important as ever. The main downside Meiko has right now is the inability to aid her group much, which is seemingly paramount this season to progress through the hardest content in the game.
Aeona
Aeona is the latest Healer to join the Fellowship roster, and with her comes the ability to effectively increase her parties health by 30%. One of her downsides right now comes from a lack of meaningful throughput, but this has been supplemented in different ways in Early Access Season 3. Her weakness mostly stems from her own personal durability and lacking a meaningful defensive, but maybe the new defensive necklace traits will be enough to aid her in this matter. Her single target damage is still obnoxiously high, competing even with some DPS!
Tariq
Tariq is a solid Hero with the capacity to do some extremely high numbers right now, but compared to his melee counterparts he falls shorts a little. His utility is still very strong, and his overhaul for Season 3 has been a blessing. He does live in a world where double melee dps isn't ideal, so naturally his spot is competing with the other available melee dps, which are very good this season.
