Welcome to Method’s Fellowship Hero Tier List. We rank all heroes based on a variety of factors including their damage output, defensiveness and utility.
The Tier List has been compiled by Nate, a multi-Hero Eternal player, one of the top ranked players in the world and ex World First World of Warcraft Raider.
For more information on the best performing Heroes, you can find our Hero Guides for them all which goes further in-depth about their strengths, weaknesses and gameplay.
Tier List Explainer & Disclaimer
The Tier List has been compiled with high-end gameplay in mind, with the Heroes at a higher Tier being those Heroes most utilised by the top teams. It should not necessarily be used to decide what Hero you’re going to play or who you’re going to play with. Everything is subject to change and it’s likely there will continue to be significant tuning and balance changes.
How each tier is defined:
- S-Tier: These are the Heroes that absolutely dominate the meta.
- A-Tier: These Heroes are generally solid and always a good choice, but they lack the complete versatility that allow those in S-Tier to excel.
- B-Tier: These heroes are still good but they have less strengths than those in the tier above. The heroes in B are still very solid, but they each have certain weaknesses which prevent them from really shining.

Tier List Discussion
S-Tier
Mara
Mara does some of the best damage in the game right now. Their AoE burst is very good, but more importantly their single target is the best. This makes their overall damage profile extremely valuable. This Hero can output some absurd numbers, complimenting her complexity and skill expression well.
Elarion
Bow guy is a staple fantasy in a majority of games. Elarion, particularly later on, has excellent damage. With your damage profile largely being priority damage that cleaves, it makes him perfect for what you want in Fellowship. The main downsides of Elarion is the inability to talent into defensive options without a big DPS loss. His mobility is solid, being able to permanently be on the move and roll, and his utility in the form of a mass grip is really nice for stubborn trash mobs.
A-Tier
Helena
Helena as a concept is a staple in the world of tanks. Revolving around simply mitigating damage before it comes in rather than having any form of self-sustain. This is her biggest weakness but with the state of her strength currently, it proves not to be an issue. Helena provides massive amounts of damage reduction to her team, while dealing extremely high damage. She also has access to arguably the single best utility ability in the game - Grand Melee.
Sylvie
Sylvie's playstyle revolves around healing over time. She’s a solid hero that can provide enough healing and useful cooldowns, but lacks the ability to increase her team's effective health pool often, which can be a detriment in an infinitely scaling environment.
Ardeos
Ardeos is a hero that has some of the highest burst in the game if you set-up properly. However, their set-up does take some time, and they mostly just do damage to all targets rather than a more focused damage profile. He has decent utility and mobility, and the ability to DoT and deal damage to spread targets can be super strong on certain bosses.
Rime
Rime has the capacity to deal very large amounts of single target burst damage with buff stacking in combination with a specific weapon. This combo makes them valuable to any composition, with some of the top groups even opting to run 2 of them as a result. Pair that with their solid group utility and mobility, whilst being extremely simple to play, and it's no wonder Rime is S tier.
Vigour
Vigour is a powerhouse in regards to the amount he can increase his teams effective health through damage reductions. The main drawback is his single target healing. Vigour lacks the ability to output a large amount of spot healing, which is particularly noticeable on tanks.
Meiko
Meiko's placement is largely a result of her lack of group utility, as well as her scalability issues. Comparatively to Helena, she lacks any meaningful utility, does less damage, and for the icing on the cake is also less durable. You do have the caveat that you have self-sustain, which is definitely something at least.
B-Tier
Vigour
Vigour is a powerhouse in regards to the amount he can increase his teams effective health through damage reductions. The main drawback is his single target healing. Vigour lacks the ability to output a large amount of spot healing, which is particularly noticeable on tanks.
Tariq
Tariq is a solid Hero, outputting some solid numbers whilst being incredibly tanky and mobile. He does however lack a meaningful damage profile, and is currently in an odd state design wise.
