Timewarped Badges are a currency earned mainly through Timewalking Dungeons in World of Warcraft. They can be exchanged for Mounts, Pets, Toys, Transmog and Reputation Tokens, often themed around a previous WoW Expansion.

Timewalking Badges are warbound, meaning any that you earn can be shared across all of your characters.

How to Earn Timewarped Badges in WoW

There are several ways to earn Timewarped Badges in WoW. The most efficient method is to complete the weekly quest on multiple characters then continue running Timewalking Dungeons preferably on a Tank or Healer. We’ve also included a few alternative methods, although these reward a smaller amount of badges.

Timewarped Badges from Timewalking Quest Items in WoW

The best way is to complete the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest. The quest is obtained at the end of any Timewalking Dungeon, where you receive a “this item begins a quest” item. Depending on which Timewalking Expansion is currently active, the quest item is different, but regardless of which item it is, you can instantly hand in the quest.

Item Expansion
Ancient Timewarped Scroll Classic
Swirling Timewarped Vial Burning Crusade
Frigid Timewarped Prism Wrath of the Lich King
Smoldering Timewarped Ember Cataclysm
Shrouded Timewarped Coin Mists of Pandaria
Shimmering Timewarped Crystal Warlords of Draenor
Whispering Felflame Crystal Legion
Remnant of Azeroth Battle for Azeroth
The Flickering Anima Shadowlands
Lost Iridescent Flightstone Dragonflight

Completing the quest rewards 500 Timewarped badges for the first character each week. If you run another dungeon the same reset you won’t get another drop, on the same character. Any additional alts will receive the item, but will only earn 200 Timewarped badges for the quest.

A common strategy to earn a lot of Timewarped Badges quickly is to create a level 10 allied race character, complete a Timewalking Dungeon to get the quest, complete the quest, transfer the badges to your main, and then delete the character and make a new one to do the same thing over and over. Although just doing it on a few alts each week can add up.

Timewarped Badges from Timewalking Dungeons in WoW

You also earn Timewarped Badges just by completing Timewalking Dungeons. The table below shows how many Timewarped Badges you will receive for doing a dungeon.

Activity Timewarped Badges
Boss 10
Final Boss 20
Dungeon Completion 10
Call to Arms Dungeon Completion 50

If you are going to farm Timewarped Badges we recommend using either a Tank or Healer as they get much faster queues, and also might get Call to Arms, which grants extra rewards.

Timewarped Badges from Timewalking Raids in WoW

You can also earn Timewarped Badges by completing Timewalking Raids, although these are only available during Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm Timewalking. Defeating a regular raidboss from each of these expansions will reward 20 Timewarped Badges, and the final raidboss will reward 50 Timewarped Badges.

Timewarped Badges from the Deaths of Chromie scenario

While the Deaths of Chromie scenario is not specific to Timewalking, you can earn a small amount of Timewarped Badges while doing these. If you are looking for some of the rewards from this scenario, it can be a great way to get both.

Just unlocking the scenario rewards 150 Timewarped Badges and completing will reward a small amount with every Sands of Time you earn. To start the Deaths of Chromie you can pick up the quest The Day That Chromie Dies in Dragonblight from Chromie.

Timewarped Badges have a large amount of Mounts, Pets, Toys, Transmog and are also great to boost your reputations. If you are looking for where to spend your Timewarped Badges check out our Dragonflight Timewalking Vendor and Rewards Guide.
