Legion Assaults are now available with the release of Phase 3 of Legion Remix. Legion Assaults were originally released with the Broken Shore, if you were playing during Legion you may remember how these work.
However, if you have forgotten or did not play during Legion and have picked up the Defending the Broken Isles quest, wondering where and how to complete a Legion Assault, we go over where Legion Assaults take place and how to complete them.
Where Legion Assaults Spawn
Legion Assaults spawn in one of the four leveling zones on the Broken Isles: Azsuna, Val’sharah, Highmountain or Stormheim. There will always be one invasion every day, roughly 18 hours apart and it will last for 6 hours.
The zone that is under assault will have a large green portal over it on the Broken Isles map so you can tell which zone has an assault currently active.
How to Complete Legion Assaults in Legion Remix
When a zone is being Assaulted by the Legion, all of the world quests in that zone will be replaced with Legion Assault ones.
When you enter the zone you will receive a quest to complete 4 world quests in that zone, once you have completed 4 world quests you will move on to stage 2.
Note: If the Emissary is active in that zone, the assault world quests also count towards the Emissary for that zone.
Stage 2 will give you a quest depending on which zone you are in. We have outlined the quests you will receive when Phase 2 starts:

Once you have completed Phase 2 you will get the final quest to defeat the Legion Assault boss and complete the Legion Invasion, this is a 3 player scenario that you can queue for by speaking to a specific NPC for each zone's assault. We have included a table to help you find the NPCs to start the final Legion Assault scenario.

Completing Legion Assaults can be a great way to earn extra reputation with the Armies of Legionfall, which in turn earns you bronze from both the achievements and paragon chests.
