Mists of Pandaria is considered to be one of the best PvP expansions in the history of World of Warcraft, known for its fun class designs and having lots of viable classes and specializations! To give you an idea of the power levels of different specializations, we have created a MoP Classic 3v3 and 2v2 Tier List including all the Healing and DPS specializations.
Note: As with most Tier lists, or ranking of Classes and Specializations in WoW, player skill plays a significant part in how well a spec can perform.
MoP Classic 3v3 PvP Tier List
The following MoP Classic Tier List is specifically for 3v3 Arena. We’ve also provided some context for each of the Tiers, including characteristics of the Specs we ranked higher in the list.
S Tier: In the S Tier category we have placed Arms Warrior, Restoration Druid, and Frost Mage, with all three specializations having incredibly powerful toolkits, you will likely face one or more of these specs in every 3v3 game.
A Tier: While not as powerful as the specializations listed in S tier, A Tier specs are common, powerful and viable options for MoP PvP, with all of them being playable at Rank 1 and Gladiator rating in 3v3.
B Tier: These specializations are more niche and not quite as strong as the ones placed in higher tiers, however, they are playable and you might encounter them in certain compositions.
C Tier: The specializations placed in C Tier are considered weak in 3v3 arena, and unlikely to be seen frequently at high rating.
MoP Classic 2v2 PvP Tier List
The following MoP Classic Tier List is specifically for 2v2 Arena. We included some additional context for each of the Tiers, including characteristics of the Specs we ranked higher in the list.
S Tier: In the S Tier category we have placed Arms Warrior, Survival Hunter, Unholy Death Knight, Restoration Druid, and Mistweaver Monk. With incredibly powerful toolkits, crowd control and damage, these specializations will likely top the leaderboards.
A Tier: Though they are not quite as strong as the specializations listed in S Tier, these specializations are very powerful, solid options, and are playable to Gladiator and Rank 1.
B Tier: Specializations listed in B Tier are not quite as strong in 2v2, though still playable, however, they may struggle to achieve higher rating.
C Tier: The specializations placed in C Tier are considered weak in 2v2 arena, and unlikely to be seen frequently at high rating.
