Talents
Despite rune generation being theoretically the core of Vigour’s kit, the current tuning of rune-based healing spells is still very underwhelming, making the system far less impactful than it should be. The only truly reliable tool to handle heavy damage phases remains the Ascending Avatar Talent, which ends up feeling more mandatory than optional.
As you unlock points throughout your journey, different nodes require different levels of investment, which might make it seem complicated, but I’ve outlined what I believe to be the best general set-up you can have at every stage.
Early Game Build
From Contender to 40~50 Eternal.

What I’d consider the mandatory nodes for early-game Vigour would be Master Of Triage and Grand Design. These talents are perfect for helping you do exactly what you need and play into your kit massively, improving quality of life and your throughput by a large amount, both HPS and DPS wise.
I wouldn't prioritize Ascending Avatar before the 11th talent point because healing checks here are not that bad and you can focus on a more offensive build via Grand Design + Radiant Soul combination.
Remember: you can still try and play whatever you prefer at this level, don't be afraid to test out stuff!
Mid-Late Game Build
Recommended from 40~50 Eternal and above.

This is the standard mid to late-game build.
It relies on Ascending Avatar to handle high-damage phases, while Enduring Light provides enough HoT uptime to sustain constant incoming damage and tank healing. Grand Design is extremely versatile and useful in many situations, offering a significant boost to our DPS kit.
Even though Grand Design might look like a helpful healing tool, in practice it is used primarily for damage (DPS) rather than for raw healing output. At this point in the game, tank damage ramps up exponentially and group healing becomes far less impactful in comparison.
As we progress further, dealing damage becomes increasingly critical, and we need to find the right balance between using abilities like Ascending Avatar offensively or defensively, depending on the encounter and damage patterns.

This is a fun build that becomes viable in a few specific scenarios where you can keep up with the healing and the group needs your DPS to beat the timer, it kind of requires the Torc Of Harmonizing Refractions to work properly however.
I would keep Master Of Triage because you realistically can’t go full DPS at all times, and with the very high rune generation this setup provides, those Talents allow you to keep dealing damage while still maintaining strong passive healing.
Expansive Mind is used here primarily for the additional Spirit.
In case your tank doesn't need a lot of spot healing, you can drop Alacritous Healing for a more offensive talent like Ruptured Soul or Beacon In The Dark.
Tank Healing Build
This build is the best tank healing build. Best from Eternal 50 and above.

The higher you play, the more you'll find yourself struggling with tank healing.
This build focuses on Luminous Barrier spam on the tank + the DR from Sacred Barrier to mitigate as much damage as possible. Also, keeping the Enduring Light HoT running on the tank is key to make him survive longer.
In case you're playing with an Helena, you might think to swap Expansive Mind for Alacritous Healing.
