Legendaries

On Vigour you have 3 main Legendaries that you can swap between depending on what you value most.

Dawnbreaker's Cloak Of Reverence: This Legendary makes your Dawnbreaker Orb's range a bit shorter and return to the position it was casted from after reaching its destination. It deals the same amount of damage and healing on it's way back, effectively doubling the healing and damage of Dawnbreaker Orb. Combined with your regular Luminous Barrier, they increase your parties effective health pool so much that you'll feel invincible in lower difficulties, making this Legendary mandatory for any meaningful push!

Bracers Of Resplendent Dawn: This effect causes your Dawnflare damage to heal players with an active Rune Of Renewal for 50% of the damage dealt. Unfortunately, due to the nature of powerful shields, the healing becomes irrelevant very fast. Additionally, each cast of Dawnflare gains a stacking cast time reduction buff, allowing for fast ramping casts. More Dawnflare casts result in increased Rune generation, which in turn generates substantial healing through Master Of Triage and enables you to use more rune spenders in general.

Ring Of Harmonizing Refractions: Your Spirit Refunds grant you Harmonizing Refractions for 12 seconds, causing your next cast of Soulbrand, Rune Of Renewal, Luminous Barrier, or Dawnbreaker Orb to have 50% increased power. This effect stacks twice, so you don't lose value if you get Spirit Refunds back to back. It always consumes only one stack at a time. This Legendary has very niche use by using those empowered Luminous Barriers to survive oneshots, like one the boss in Empyrean Sands.

Weapons

Vigour is pretty much locked in on Forbidden Tome Of Arcanistry. History Of The Faelight Gardens is a very strong secondary or early game choice. Since Weapons are now easier to swap due to the changes of how traits work, having both can be good situationally. Forbidden Tome Of Arcanistry will be your number 1 choice for almost all situations, just because it synergizes very well with existing traits and the rest of your kit.

Zeraleth's Compendium - This weapon deals massive amounts of pure single target damage but has high cooldown and locks you in place for 3 seconds while channelling. Pair this with Heroic Brand weapon trait and you have really good burst for certain boss mechanics like the totems in Everdawn Grove and Godfall Quarry.

Ancient Iceshaper's Tome - Even though this Weapon contributes a lot of Healing, it's not recommended in any scenario because we already have enough HPS built in our kit.

Gear Sets

With the changes to gearing, set bonuses have the capacity to be a powerful addition for your BiS setup. There are 2 different types of set categories. "Small" sets are dropped in regular 1-Boss-Dungeons, while "big" sets drop from capstone dungeons. Both categories drop on a total of 5 different gear pieces, making you only able to equip 2 sets from each category at most, since you need 2 pieces to build a set. Different dungeons drop different sets, allowing you to target your best-in-slot bonuses ideally.

Currently, "big" sets are a bit lacklustre except Torment Of Bael'aurum while "small" sets are generally really powerful. Try looking out for Torment Of Bael'aurum, Tuzari Grace and Sin Warding. Those are most likely to be part of your personal BiS setup and worth hunting later on. Depending on your gem setup, you might have to drop Tuzari Grace for Seal of the Heskyr.

Relics

Relics are entirely utility focused in Fellowship and they mostly aren’t unique to specific heroes so it allows for a lot of change. In general it is always good to have every Relic in the game.

General use

These are the relics you'll use almost always regardless of dungeon. If you are just queueing into pugs, then going with Sinbinding Stone and Ancient Wardstone is always a solid choice.

Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses in the game, and crucial to have as you progress Eternals.

Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons, like Wyrmheart or Silken Hollow, depending on how you’re pulling.

Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken permanently. This cannot be used on main bosses, but can be used on boss adds making some fights easier to manage (last boss of Tuzari/Wraithtide). This Relic really shines when used to eliminate difficult trash mobs in any given pull, or to entirely negate the Empowered mob affix. Be warned though, any mob that is turned into a chicken will give 0% towards your kill count. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so choose wisely what mobs you want to chicken. You want to take this especially when chicken's stats are not great for your DPS' or tank.

Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. It can be strong if you plan around skipping packs with this.

Limited Use

These are usually not relics you'll need to bring but are still useful to keep a copy of just in case you have to.

Chalice Of Al’zerac’s Essence - Returns 30% of your maximum mana. Because Vigour currently only struggles with mana in very early game content, this is not as useful in hard content.

Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat revive. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown. Great if your party lacks experience with boss fights.

Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You yourself can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a 30 second cooldown after you took the portal but there can be multiple active if multiple people of your group take this. It has a 2 minute cooldown. With coordinated play it could be useful but for most it’s not a great option.

Bloodrite Drums - A 12 second, 50% move speed increase for you and your allies. Has risen in priority in Season 2 due to the nature of constant chaining packs and the inability to mount up. Is usually picked up by DPS players.

Shard Of Antimatter - An interrupt on a 90 second cooldown. Can be very helpful in caster heavy dungeons or if your team lacks cc
