Talents
There are two primary and distinct Talent builds for Tariq currently. Schism and Chain Lightning. While Schism will typically be your go-to end game build, Chain Lightning is still an option for the early game despite it being nerfed a bit in November's patches. The Talent builds are as follows:
Schism Build (End Game)
This is the Schism build that I am testing and is making the most sense with the new changes making Them Bones only 1 point and the buff to Face Breaker. Optimal Face Breaker usage is even more important now, you never want to use it unless you have a proc from an enemy dodging or you missing your attack from wild swinging. Bloodline was also buffed to give 20% baseline passive movement speed and generate 2 fury per 1 second instead of 1 fury per 1 second.

This is the current "best" build I have been using, may change down the line when the season progresses as I am writing this at the end of day 1. If you need to move a point around to get Magic Ward or Pneuma should you NEED a defensive I would move Spit It Out into it, only losing you a bit of single target damage. Left Hand Path is even better now that Face Breaker was so heavily buffed, a +78% damage increase on top of a +400% damage increase when used while procced (which you never want to use without a proc).
Note: The flex point Spit It Out can be used to move into defensive, or into Far Beyond Driven. Far Beyond Driven's uptime is nearly 100% as it lasts for 20 seconds, giving you a +10 spirit stat for 1 talent point.
Lightning Build (Early Game)
The more simplistic spec to play early game while learning Tariq, this was the go-to build before the November 13th changes. While it is still viable, the Schism spec just out performs it in the end game, but this spec is still very good from early Contender through Paragon while you're learning the character.

This build is very straight forward, and the same defensive choice applies to it as the Schism build. (Refer to the Schism build for more info on this)
You can play this build as you start a fresh character and then make the swap to Schism when you hit Eternal or earlier if you wish.
I really cannot recommend ever playing this build even early game after the recent pre season 2 patch, but I will leave it up for now as it was at one point the best build to run.
